About Me

Very sleepy koala, my sister and I
Very sleepy koala, my sister and I

I was born and raised in Australia, on a farm with platypus in the creek, kangaroos in the back paddock and emus too.  I took it all for granted and never knew how special this landscape was - until I left.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm happy where I am now, and for so many reasons, but the opportunity to go home and immerse in my mother land is always compelling.  There's so many reasons why, but here's my quick 6:

6 Reasons why Australia will keep you coming back again:

Bright sunny days with big light filled atmosphere is my first impression on arrival. Yes, of course it rains, (and rain is just about always welcome in Australia), but lets just say the climate is a welcoming feature and especially if you've flown in from the frozen north hemisphere in January.

Mind blowing diversity: From the high country and snow plains, (yes, I said snow), to golden sandy beaches, to the scent filled rain forests, Australia hosts a wide spectrum of climatic and ecological diversity.  I can fly from Melbourne to Cairns and feel like I'm in another country.

Quirky critters: I grew up with them, but seeing and experiencing an echidna hurriedly burrowing into the ground or being startled by a 6 ft long goanna barreling up a gum tree will always stop me in my tracks.

Noisy birds: If you've ever heard a cockatoo screeching at around 100 decibels you'll know what I mean, but it's the Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo that's my personal favourite.  Not all the birds are raucous though. The blue wren is a beautiful little bird that makes your heart sing.

Wine and dine: Exploring the wine districts and landscapes they exits in is a delight. You can even do a cycling tour and take in many, many wineries -my favourite place for this is in the Barossa Valley, South Australia

National Parks abound: Each one tells a story of the land, sometimes the Dream Time others the elements and strange plants and trees. These are settings of raw natural beauty and filled with energy.

Feeling curious yet?  :) Reach out and say G'day!

Amazing trip start to finish!
Reviewed By Sean - Edmonton, Alberta | Traveled to Playa Del Carmen ~ Quintana Roo ~ Mexico
Julianne has been great to work with. She gives a very personalized service and goes out of her way to ensure your needs are met. In fact... she booked our vacation while she was away on vacation herself. She is very knowledgeable about many places to travel and was extremely versed in the current travel requirements concerning COVID. My family has used her twice now and both times she was able to get us upgraded rooms and seats on the plane for less than I could find online. Julianne has been able to provide cost saving tips for the area we went as well. She was always available to answer any questions and provides documents and recommendations for every part of the trip. Working with Julianne has been a totally different and superior experience than using a commercial travel agency in absolutely everyway. My only regret is that I didn't find her earlier. I will not travel anywhere without consulting with her.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Big Thank You our holiday on such short notice
Reviewed By J & S Bergsma - Lethbridge, Alberta | Traveled to Mexico
A big, huge THANK YOU for putting our trip together and finding an all inclusive for us on such short notice. We really had a great time of relaxation!! The Occidental Nuevo Vallarta had great food and service, it was busy and noisy and a lack of loungers. Overall a great stay.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.
