About Me

An iconic visa in Monaco
An iconic visa in Monaco

Monaco may be small but that doesn't mean it's lacking in things to do. Two square kilometers hold a Formula 1 circuit through real streets, a Casino de Monte-Carlo anchoring the principality's glamour since the Belle Époque, and Port Hercule, where race-week yachts reflect each owner's standing. The difference between a good trip and a great one: which hotel faces the harbor, when shoulder season gives you Larvotto Beach at its quietest, and whether a helicopter from Nice changes the arrival. The right Monaco travel advisor takes care of all of it.

WHAT BRINGS YOU TO VISIT MONACO

Monaco draws a specific set of travelers, each with a clear purpose.

  • Grand Prix and Event Travelers: Five days in May transform Monaco into something with no equivalent in sport. The week is an exercise in position. Where you watch and where you end up at midnight is the whole experience. I secure Paddock Club access and suite allocations at the Hotel de Paris ahead of public release, then pair you with specialists who know which Port Hercule terrace positions you correctly.

  • Couples and Honeymooners: The images do not lie. The Casino lit at night, the harbor at golden hour, dinner at Le Louis XV with three Michelin stars. That gap between imagining a trip and actually feeling it comes down to timing and landing a reservation without months on a list. A Monaco honeymoon built right delivers exactly what those images promise.

  • Families Traveling Together: The instinct to bring everyone here is a good one. Monaco's security record and contained scale make it genuinely rare. A morning at the Oceanographic Museum, the changing of the guard at the Prince's Palace, and a base at Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel and Resort. I know how to sequence it for every age.

  • Corporate Retreats and Bleisure Travelers: When the purpose is to impress, Monaco delivers. The Grimaldi Forum handles the meetings. The walk to the best dinner reservations takes three minutes. I build the full arc from conference logistics to a Riviera extension that feels earned. Dinner in Eze or a helicopter to Cannes closes the week right.

WHY I AM THE RIGHT ADVISOR FOR YOUR MONACO TRAVEL

The details that matter most are the ones most people do not know to ask about: which Grand Prix viewing positions are genuinely worth the premium and which sell on prestige alone, which properties at Port Hercule actually face the circuit, and whether a hotel concierge relationship is strong enough to move a Le Louis XV reservation. Those answers come from direct supplier contacts and from pairing clients with local specialists, one focused on event access and motorsport hospitality, another on Riviera dining and hotel positioning. For clients whose Monaco travel requires complete discretion, whether that means coordinating complex household schedules or working alongside security personnel, that side of things is handled quietly. Planning this trip well takes a few weeks to do right.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: How far ahead should I plan for the Grand Prix?
A: Twelve to eighteen months is realistic. The flagship hotels release preferred allocations before public booking and enforce multi-night minimums. A shorter lead time still works, but the best positions fill early.

Q: Do I need French to get around Monaco?
A: English is spoken throughout hotels, restaurants, and the Casino. The principality's footprint is smaller than most American shopping malls. A few French phrases at local spots are appreciated but not required.

Q: Is Monaco worth pairing with other Riviera stops?
A: Yes. Nice is 30 minutes by train, Eze sits just above Monaco on the Corniche, and Menton hugs the Italian border with less tourist traffic. A 7-to-10-day itinerary anchoring Monaco with Nice and Cannes covers the coast well.

A perfect Mallorca experience
Reviewed By Makis S. - Deerfield, IL | Traveled to Balearic Islands ~ Spain ~ Europe
I never would have picked Mallorca as a vacation destination. My wife likes the beach, I like adventure. Gilded Travels created the perfect one-week itinerary that had us exploring the beautiful beaches, hiking through rustic mountain villages, and dining at incredible restaurants on the island. No day felt too full or too empty. It was the perfect balance. Neither of us felt like we needed a "vacation from our vacation." I definitely recommend Steven and Gilded Travels and will be using them again!

Steven was amazing to work with. I’m an anxious traveler and he made the process so easy! I’ve always wanted to go to Patagonia but didn’t even know where to start. Steven took control and created an itinerary for me that I could’ve never done myself. We worked together to tweak it a bit and next thing you know I’m climbing a glacier in Argentina! 10/10 recommend his services- WORTH IT!

Trip of a lifetime!
Reviewed By Nancy P. - Arlington Heights, IL | Traveled to Europe
My husband and I planned an ambitious European trip and Steven made it happen. He was able to take our wishes and plan an itinerary which we thoroughly enjoyed. He worked with us as we fine tuned our plans, gave us options to choose from, and answered all of our questions. We were grateful that prior to our trip he checked in to be sure we had taken care of the items we needed to handle. During our trip we experienced a train delay which caused us to miss a connecting train and Steven was able to give us guidance so we could reach our destination. It was a pleasure to work with Steven, he showed real interest in our plans, and checked in once we returned. Thanks Steven!

The balance was perfect; a fantastic mix of planned activities and personal time to explore. The meetings to pre-plan the trip were concise, helpful and relevant. Lots of great moments. Petra and Bethany by the Jordan were both highlights. It exceeded my expectations.

Patagonia anniversary success
Steve was great to work with. We planned our trip in late January for November, and he guided us through it all and stayed on top of it following up with us in the fall and even checked in on the trip and after. It was great to have an expert who has traveled there really give us his recommendations. He nailed the whole trip out of the park and was one of the best life changing vacations we have taken. It was extra special because we celebrated our 20th anniversary.
