Wanderlust (n): A Strong Desire for or impluse to wander and explore the world 

Wanderlust is what drives me to explore, it encourages me to experience different cultures and broaden my view to new sights and the lives of others.

About Me

A former educator, I was so excited to begin a new career in Travel at the start of the year in 2023. The thought of working with people who want to learn about the world around them and explore new places was absolutely thrilling to me!  I have much enjoyed creating European travel experiences for my clients and hearing about all of the things they loved and learned during their time abroad.

I found myself feeling the strong pull of wanderlust after my time living and working on military posts in Germany in 2014. I fell in love with the German culture, particularly Verdauungsspaziergang (digestion walk), which is the habit of going for a leisurely stroll after eating large meals. Of course taking a stroll along cobbled paths in beautiful city centers and markets is a wonderful way to enjoy your time, however when I continued the habit upon my return home I realized that this small habit that is so common in Europe made my own world more beautiful. 

When I decided to change my career, I was certain that I wanted to help share the beauty of the world with people in and around my community. I hope to spread my wanderlust to others so that more people can experience the wonders of the world, big and small. 

Now that I have settled into my role as a travel agent I have begun to take a step back from taking on many travelers and once so that I can dedicate more time to creating individual travel experience for my clients. I have been learning so much while supporting other, more experienced members of my team and am excited to continue to grow and learn about the travel industry.
