Same cruise line, different ship class

Cruises are one of my absolute favorite types of vacations. They are basically all inclusive resorts at sea. Your food, room, activities, entertainment, shopping, spa services, etc. are all available on board for you. So many options are available to you that are included in your cruise fare. To elevate your experience, you can purchase things like specialty dining to immerse yourself in what else is available to you on the ship. The shows are always one of my favorite things to explore while on board. My kids also love cruising because they love the pools and water slides, the ability to get pizza 24 hours a day, and they love looking out over the ocean as we sail.

I sailed on the MSC Seaside in November 2025that visited Ocean Cay and Nassau. Ocean Cay has gorgeous turquoise water. I have never visited Ocean Cay before. There were 6 of us in 2 connecting balcony rooms. I loved the bedding for our kids' room because the couch can lift up to make bunk beds, which conserved some space in the rooms.

We also went on Utopia of the Seas in July 2025. This ship is absolutely amazing and is definitely our favorite ship right now. It has so much to offer and is absolutely stunning inside and out. The Aqua show was my favorite thing on the ship. My kids also really enjoyed the water slides and pools.

June 2023 we went on a Carnival Cruise that went to Nassau and Half Moon Cay. I really liked Half Moon Cay as well - has that same turquoise water that is so beautiful. This was my kids' first time on a cruise ship. They really enjoyed the Cat in the Hat breakfast we had and the parade that occurred during the day with the characters.

I hope to board at least one ship from all of the cruise lines in my lifetime. I love being able to see the world from a cruise ship and have everything available to me all in one spot.
