As a Travel Advisor and former Flight Attendant, I have over 27 years of Travel Industry experience. I use my own personal and professional experience to help design your perfect vacation. I look to experience new destinations as often as possible to know all there is to know for YOU. I love to experience, explore, and eat all there is to offer.

When I begin planning each adventure, I start by doing research for you. I research the destination area, the people, the hotels, the cuisine, the nightlife and the activities. When there are things to learn, I will find a way to become an expert!

I like to familiarize myself with all the Best Kept Secret things to do and see in each destination my clients visit. I like to give my clients a true VIP experience where they can enjoy unique experiences only a Luxury Travel Designer can create.

  • How about seeing the Vatican before it opens - have the place practically to yourself!
  • What about a private catamaran ride in Santorini to swim in the turquoise sea before a sunset barbecue for you and your loved one!
  • Have you ever dreamed of feeding elephants in Chaing Mai? I can make that happen too!

I love to create these VIP experiences for my clients when planning their Vacation Adventures. I take the same care and attention to detail with my clients’ vacation plans as I do with my own. Together we determine what you want to do, and what your vision is for your trip. Perhaps you know you want to visit the Caribbean, but hadn’t considered what island or resort, or even what travel documents will be required when leaving the country. I take the time to work with each client until we have put together the perfect vacation package.

That is why my clients work with a Travel Designer like me! I know the questions that need to be asked and the details that need to be considered.

While I currently hold certifications from various cruise lines and tour operators, I am also a licensed Certified Travel Associate (CTA).

Whether it is your Honeymoon, a Family Getaway, or a Bucketlist Vacation, I am always ready for an Adventure! Travel is my passion, and I have curved that passion into the most fulfilling career as a Luxury Travel Designer.

Scotland & London Family Trip

Trisha and her team planned an incredible trip for our family. We traveled through Scotland, staying in Edinburgh and Inverness before continuing on to London. The itinerary provided the perfect blend of history, outdoor adventure, and culinary experiences. The guides throughout our journey were personable, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing the local culture and history. The guide who welcomed us upon our arrival in Scotland even checked in with us throughout our trip to ensure everything was going smoothly, which was greatly appreciated. During our travels, we toured historic castles, hiked scenic trails around beautiful lochs, and visited filming locations from both Outlander and Downton Abbey. We concluded our trip in London with a memorable afternoon tea at Fortnum & Mason after viewing the Crown Jewels. This itinerary was a perfect fit for our family, which included both a college student and a recent college graduate. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and the experience exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to start planning our next adventure with Trisha and her team!

Better than we could have ever dreamed!!!

Unforgettable Spring Break

We had the BEST experience traveling on Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas. The ship was modern and had SO many amenities!!! The food was the best we have ever had on a cruise, and the staff was impeccable!!! Our favorite excursions were going to see the Mayan ruins at Costa Maya, Mexico and also going to Chankaanab Resort in Cozumel, Mexico for the day!! This was truly one of the most underripe of our lives!!! Trisha Rathke, our travel agent, was always available…and she helped us with all our needs from start to finish of the trip!!! We cannot wait to book our next vacation!!!
