European Vacation Expert for Gay Travelers

I started traveling to Europe when I was 13. I was an exchange student in the UK and never stopped going back. Later in high school, I had a chance to visit my first foreign language speaking country - the Netherlands. 

I was hooked.

Since then, I have visited almost every country in Europe both on business and leisure travel. I have personally guided groups and couples on their very first European getaways. I even lived in Europe for two years. It's a second home to me.

There are a few different kinds of European trips I can help you plan.

The most popular is the sun-drenched Spanish, French, and Italian coasts. I put together Barcelona-Sitges vacations for many gay travelers. No matter what time of year, there's something there for everyone.

I also get a lot of requests for Greece. Of course, Athens is the start of most Greek vacations, but you have to get away to one of the islands. Maybe your adventure is more castles and mountains? If so, Switzerland, Austria, and Germany should be on your list. Whether by car, train or tour bus, there is so much to see in what I happen to think is the most beautiful part of the continent. I speak German and lived here, so I may be biased, but you have to see this part of the world.

Want to crank the adventure level up higher? Then you want Scandinavia and Iceland. Iceland is one of the youngest inhabited land masses on the planet. And it shows. Volcanoes, lava sand beaches, hot springs, glaciers, and friendly folks who want to show it all to you. Or head over to Norway's fjords, Sweden's tundra, or Finland's Lapland. Want to catch the Northern Lights? This is the place to be.

I can't talk about gay hot spots in Europe without mentioning Berlin. Berlin is a unique and amazing city with a fascinating history and a gay scene for every taste.

Of course, there are a ton of other "must see" spots in Europe for the gay traveler. Whatever adventure you want, Europe has it to offer.
