I was a travel agent before I even knew it. As the internet was born, Expedia arose and Main Street travel agents started to disappear, I became the travel organizer for my entire family. Every trip you would find me poring over flight schedules, hotel rates, weather averages and local tour guides.Travel has always fired me up. The line from Its A Wonderful Life resonates deeply with me: "You know what the three most exciting sounds in the world are? Anchor chains, plane motors and train whistles."I love airports, cruise terminals and train stations. I love the excitement of people leaving for their vacation adventures, people arriving and being re-united with friends and family and the excited buzz that pervades these places. One of my favorite parts of a vacation is to sit down in a restaurant after checking in and enjoy a meal or a drink. The hard work is all done, the cases are packed and have been checked in, the arrangements are made and all that is left to do is to sit back and contemplate the wonderful days that are coming up.I have been making vacation dreams come true for years and would love the opportunity to do the same for you.

Adventures

My bucket list is to travel to every country in the world. I refuse to die until I've been everywhere! I maintain a spreadsheet that shows that, so far, depending on which definition you use, I have been to 29 countries. Some of the highlights of that list are Machu Picchu, Rome, Venice and Paris. I'm from London so that goes without saying. Morocco is my one foray into Africa and Japan was an amazing introduction to Asia. This year I will hit two new ones, the Dominican Republic and the US Virgin Islands. I need to pick up the pace a little. Or live until I'm 120. I'm fine with either!
