From your side every thing was fine. Though you said that the overnight hotel package including transportation from the ship to airport was included that was true if we paid $60/person. Since we found out that the mode of transportation was by 62 person buses we opted for a private car service at $299 for the transfer. By car the trip was 55 minutes and by bus it would take 70-75 minutes.

I would suggest that the your recommended VISA company is a poor choice both from price and service! They "accepted" the fact that I did NOT need a Multi-Entry visa for Vietnam which I clearly requested. Their Charges are not in line with others including that Cambodia will issue a Visa at the Airport (I would rather have it in hand but check the pricing??) They also are NOT AMA's recommended VISA supplier and others using it did not have my issues and it was less expensive. I paid Lexus price received YUGO service.

A few comments to pass along to your travel planners: Viking River Cruises is very regimented as far as tours, meal times, etc. Everyone has to be in the dining room at 7pm sharp. Food was good but service was rushed and the dining room is extremely loud; not good acoustics. Also, public space does not accommodate all passengers for briefings etc. The a/c broke the last 3 days of our trip and it was extremely hot on the ship. Viking is not for everyone is the bottom line!

David Locke the agent we had was excellent. He answered all my questions in a timely manner. The only complaint I had was our flight overseas. We were not assigned seats until the day before the flight and the US Airways plane to Lisbon was not comfortable for such a long flight. My husband is tall so we had to upgrade our seats to an exit row. It was a 3, 3 with no individual TV screens and the food was terrible. The US Airways flight back from Rome was great however.

This would have been a 10, but we were asked by our booking agent to call the airline to get our 4 seats together, after rhey originally got us seats as 2 and 2. This should have been automatically by the agent. It would have been nice to know what was provided in the travel documents from the cruiseline. We printed several documents, which was nit necessary. Otherwise our agent was very easy to work with while booking.
