This was our first cruise and booked two cabins as we were taking my 82 year old father-in-law so we had separate reservation numbers. Cindy kept track of both reservations, was very patient, and answered all my questions throughput the process. She even made helpful suggestions, keeping my father-in-law's age in consideration. She was also very timely in responding even though there was a time difference of four hours, east coast to west coast.

Had a wonderful cruise with AmaDara and crew. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience on the Mekong. Everything was beautifully arranged & went off with minimal changes. Wonderful food & entertainment with live piano music in the evenings. I was impressed that most of the staff were aware of my food allergy by breakfas. The Food Director reviewed the menu & discussed it with me before every meal; well done! Thanks again for the cabin upgrade. Great choice to use Sofitel pre- & post-cruise. NEGATIVES: No Lift; this was not made clear prior to booking. I had an aching back the whole trip from climbing stairs multiple times per day & had to take pain medication every day. There were 5 or 6 of us with the same problem. We were all surprised when we stepped on board & there was no lift.

Avoya travel took immediate action when I called your representative about a possible trip to the South Pacific on Oceania. The category of cabin was already booked up, but we were given what we asked for by sail away time. We arranged for the transfer from airport to ship some 70 miles away in Valpraiso, and it was immediately provided. Our airline seats were pre arranged and were excellent! That was a first, and very welcome not to do our own bookings.

At first I thought Cindy was attentive and sensitive to our needs. Then I began to wonder as the days towards the cruise approached. But we couldn't have been more appreciative of Cindy's efforts in the pinch as we sat in the airport in Miami and later in Madrid thinking we would not be able to get to the ship before it sailed. She was attentive, creative and prompt even as we thought we might miss the first two days of the cruise. Cindy and Nautica's Captain and crew made it all come together. We are so greatful and hope to use both again.
