Hi, I'm Stacy — your go-to travel advisor for all things Universal Orlando Resort... and especially for the brand-new Epic Universe!

My Universal story didn’t start recently — it goes all the way back to 1996, when I first experienced the thrills and magic of Universal Studios Orlando. Fast forward a few years, and it became even more special when I started bringing my own family — my husband and our four kids — in 2014. From then on, Universal became a part of our family’s rhythm and memories. We proudly held Annual Passes for six amazing years, visiting as often as possible before finally giving them up (reluctantly!) a couple of years ago.

You could say I haven't just watched Universal grow — I've grown with it. I’ve been there for all the big moments, with memories that will stay with me forever:

? Soft openings for Reign of Kong, Jimmy Fallon’s Race Through New York, Fast & Furious: Supercharged, VelociCoaster, and Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast — yes, I got to experience them all before the official crowds!

? I was on-site for opening day of Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. I waited five hours (yes, FIVE hours!) — taking cat naps on the cave floor — just to ride it. And when I finally climbed aboard, I burst into tears. It was absolutely worth every second.

Now, a new chapter begins — Epic Universe. Epic Universe is the first major theme park to open in Florida since Universal’s own Islands of Adventure debuted back in 1999 — and it’s truly a game changer. This stunning 750-acre destination will include a cutting-edge theme park and three brand-new hotels, offering an all-new level of adventure and immersion for guests.

The park is divided into five uniquely themed lands:

From the very first announcement, I’ve been following Epic Universe's progress step-by-step — every concept, every construction update, every new sneak peek. I’ve attended early previews, explored the new lands firsthand, and trained specifically on what will make Epic Universe different from anything else in Orlando.
