My journey into travel planning began with organizing events for family and friends, which eventually led me into the business of event management with VEP Associates Professional Services. Realizing that many events required travel, I expanded the company in 1998 to include a full-service travel agency, VEP Associates Travel. My first educational experience in travel was at a Sandals property in Jamaica in 2002. This training allowed me to connect with property general managers, hotel managers, and staff, forming valuable relationships that benefit my clients to this day.

These settings provide a stunning backdrop for your special day, and many guests use the opportunity to treat the wedding invitation as a family vacation, including their children in the all-inclusive experience. I also focus on romance travel, helping couples plan vow renewals to celebrate their wedding anniversaries.

One of my most memorable bookings was for a couple who were initially reluctant to have a destination wedding, fearing no one would attend. They ended up with nearly 100 guests at Beaches Resorts in Turks and Caicos. The couple and their guests had such a fantastic experience that they returned for their 5th, 10th, and 15th wedding anniversaries, now including their children in the celebrations.

In another instance, I booked a Caribbean cruise for 14 people. Despite facing a flight cancellation and potential missed cruise departure, I coordinated with American Airlines and local Jamaican resorts to ensure my clients reached their cruise on time.
