Sun Destination Specialist (all-inclusive)

Being born and raised in Canada can be a roller coaster.  We have so many seasons including about 4 different winters, and a summer that comes and goes from as early as February and sometimes lasts until October.  I love the feeling of the sun on my face and the sand or grass between my toes.

Summers as a child were spent at the cottage in Wasaga Beach, Ontario and from then on I knew I needed to be in a warmer climate as much as possible.

As soon as I started working full time I would book vacations (mostly online I might add) and make mistakes in doing so. Looking back, I wish I had used a travel agent more often.  I just didn't have the knowledge at that point and didn't make the most of my time spent in these destinations.

My first couple all inclusive vacations were to Varadero and Riviera Maya.  I have stayed in both destinations multiple times now and love them both for different reasons.

As I have gotten older though, my tastes have changed and I much prefer a laid back atmosphere, where the drinks are cold, the sun is hot and the service is exceptional.  I really enjoyed a recent stay in St. Lucia and would highly recommend going as it is very safe, the people are amazing both on and off the resort and the country itself is just beautiful.

I do have some advice, free as always of course; if you see a resort you like at a price you're comfortable with, don't wait hoping for a better deal... in today's travel market these "last minute deals" are rare and in most cases you end up with a higher price and/or you miss out completely as the resort you had your heart set on has sold out while you waited.
