I was fortunate to experience more than ten unique Christmas Markets across the historic cities of Budapest, Vienna, and Prague — and the magic was unforgettable.

Each destination offered its own treasure trove of culture and charm: grand castles dusted with winter light, panoramic river views, and the irresistible aroma of seasonal treats drifting through cobblestone streets.From Schönbrunn Palace to the iconic Sacher Hotel (home of the famous chocolate cake), I sampled regional specialties, collected handcrafted treasures, and warmed up with mulled wine served in the coveted market mugs — all of which made it into my suitcase… after I purchased a second one to fit everything.

Today, I enjoy my morning coffee in those mugs and smile at the memories: twinkling lights, a bustling skating rink, hot raclette, warm cider, and the cheerful soundtrack of holiday spirit all around me.
