River cruising combines many of the things I value most about travel — smaller ships, meaningful destinations, great service, and the ability to experience multiple cities and regions without constantly unpacking and repacking.

I am a travel lover who is both methodical and creative, which helps me navigate the countless options available to people interested in exploring the world. With so many river cruise lines, itineraries, cabin choices, excursions, and pre- and post-cruise options available, I enjoy helping travelers find the experience that truly fits their travel style and goals.

To give you an idea of how I like to explore, I once cruised from Florida to Alaska, continued by train to Colorado, flew back to Florida, and then spent four months exploring the East Coast of the United States in an RV. I believe travel should be immersive, thoughtful, and focused on experiences rather than simply checking destinations off a list.

I especially enjoy adult-oriented travel experiences where the focus is on culture, history, food, wine, scenery, and meaningful conversation rather than crowds and constant activity. That is one of the reasons I love river cruising so much. The smaller ships create a more intimate atmosphere and allow travelers to dock directly in the heart of many of the world’s most beautiful cities and towns.

Over the years, I have experienced a variety of travel styles, including European river cruises, expedition cruises in Alaska, Antarctica, the Galápagos, and the Sea of Cortez, small-ship sailings with Windstar Cruises, and adventure cruises with UnCruise Adventures and Hurtigruten.

These experiences have given me a strong understanding of travelers who prefer immersive, destination-focused travel over large mass-market vacations.

Before entering the travel industry, I served as an Air Force officer and graduated from the United States Air Force Academy. I also attended Georgetown University Law Center. Today, I live in Southwest Florida and am the proud father of two amazing daughters.
