Icy Alaskan Mountains
Alaska is the place to go if you enjoy breathtaking scenery and spying wildlife in their natural habitat.
Bears, puffins, sea birds, sea lions, sea otters, whales, moose, and eagles, are just some of the wildlife you can see on an Alaskan Cruise.
Alaska is the land of glaciers and mountains of ice. Small luxury expedition cruise allow the adventurous traveler to see glaciers and wildlife up close. Larger ships cover more ground allowing for a comfortable and efficient way to visit.
The cruise season in Alaska begins in late April and continues through September. You can explore the inside passage on a round trip cruise from Vancouver or Seattle. We took a longer cruise from Vancouver to Whittier. Then we took a dome train to Anchorage. The scenery was beautiful all the way on the cruise and train ride. You can also add a land tour to Denali National Park.
