My love of travel started at an early age, from my mother carrying me around as a baby in the Louvre to going to Thailand as a young child. I always have liked to be organized in my trips and plan out exciting details to make the trip extra special. That has now carried over into my business as a travel agent.
I love to piece together amazing trips that my clients will look back upon as beautiful memories of exploring new things. New things like amazing architecture of the Old World and New, strange foods and learning about different cultures throughout the world.
I work with my clients to create these adventures, whether they are solo travelers looking to explore Antarctica or families wanting to create memories together in Paris. I want my clients know that the only thing they have to do is be present in the moment, not worrying about where they need to book their next hotel.
Luxury travel isn't all about what is the most expensive in my experience. It is about providing unique and meaningful experiences. It is about finding the experts to lead you on a private tour on the benefits of conservation while viewing sloths in the Costa Rican rain forests. It's also about having a travel agent that will go out of their way to make you feel like the trip is luxurious and provide only the best options for their client.
I am certified with many different vendors throughout the world and regularly update all of my credentials with each region I work with. This ensures that I am able to provide only the best options to my clients whether I work with a particular vendor or not. In addition to my certifications, I take the time to talk with my clients about their trips. I want to know why my clients would like to go to a particular place. Have they ever traveled overseas? Do they need help with what to tip? Which is best restaurant with a view to book if they are celebrating an anniversary. How long it takes to journey from Rome to Venice by rail. These types of details are things I like to think of when I plan trips for my clients so they don't have to worry and focus on their adventure.
When I send proposals and then itineraries to my clients, I have invested in a top of the line system that is easy and helpful for my clients to use. When my clients travel, they are able to access all of their travel information in one app. They are able to view confirmation numbers and pull up tickets even if they don't have access to WIFI. They are able to view real time flight information when they travel, sometimes before the airline even updates it on their sites. My clients are able to easily communicate with me without having to worry about time zones. If plans change, I am able to update them without the hassle of disturbing my clients. They also are able to view videos that can detail a first person experience. I know all fo this makes a vacation feel less intimidating with all of the details in one place.
I work to prepare my clients on what are healthy expectations for worldwide travel so that nothing can take them by surprise. I have had clients that thank me after their trip for taking the time to walk them through what to expect when traveling to a certain place. It helps them become more comfortable with new experiences. My clients work hard to take these vacations, and I want them to feel comfortable when they travel.
My job is one that I love and when you do what you love, it's not work. My clients are amazing people that are looking for someone to help guide them and work with them to make such amazing memories. I feel an incredible sense of pride every time I have a new client that wants to book with me because my previous clients referred them to me. I love that clients will come to me for these grand adventures in their lives and that I get to be the person that helps make them happen.

In what way was the agent particularly helpful?
SO many ways! Providing recommendations especially on hotels and tours were the most helpful. The vacation app and folder she created were also enormously helpful! She was always so quick and helpful with communication and really listening/taking into account our goals for the trip, considering our kids' ages, etc. Her recommendations were so amazing and better than what we would've found ourselves! Our very favorite thing was our hotel in Paris. It was the best location ever, had panoramic views of the city via a balcony, and was AMAZING for our family of 4. We would not have found that on our own for sure, since it was more of a boutique hotel.
