I'm Raquel Gilbreath, founder of Tropical Sunset Travel in Summerville, South Carolina, serving travelers in the Charleston area and beyond. For more than 10 years, I've helped travelers turn vacation ideas into personal, thoughtfully planned experiences and made getting there less stressful.

I specialize in ocean and river cruises, European vacations, Disney and Universal vacations, and all-inclusive resorts throughout the Caribbean and Mexico. Italy, Scotland, and Ireland hold a special place in my heart, and I love helping travelers find their own connection to a destination.

As a Master Cruise Counsellor (MCC) and Certified Travel Associate (CTA), I bring professional training and a personal approach to every trip I plan. From comparing options and coordinating reservations to keeping track of payment deadlines and helping you prepare for departure, I guide you through the details. My support continues before, during, and after your travels.

I work with couples, families, groups, solo travelers and military families, and I welcome travelers of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities. Travel is for everyone. I'm proud to support the LGBTQIA+ community and help travelers with accessibility needs find options that suit them.
