My name is Miko and I am one Travelmation's newest Travel agents (August 2022). I am a single father of two Disney princesses, Charlotte and Cecilia and all three of us have been annual passholders since 2018 when Charlotte and Cecilia were just 2 and 1 years old, respectively.
Living out of Gainesville and working for the University of Florida, I take my two daughters every weekend I can to Disney. Our favorite ride together is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, our favorite park is Magic Kingdom and our favorite Disney Snack is the Mickey Pretzel. Our love for Disney ultimately grew into becoming Disney Vacation Club Members with a home resort at the Grand Floridian.
Now I want to share my passion of Disney and travel with friends and those I encounter to help assist in planning their experience of Disney Magic.
Disney is literally a walk in the park
New Year's Eve 2019 at Magic Kingdom. A single father with two kids in tow at ages 3 and 2 as of December 31, 2019 we arrived at 7AM.
This day at MK is literally the most attended day out of 365 that max capacity was reached at 1pm and the parking security had to turn drivers away. Shoulder to shoulder in many parts of the park, it was normal and understandable to see two parents struggle with just one kid, even more so with two or more.
My situation was reversed, I was one parent with two toddlers. Fortunately, I had been to Disney with my two daughters dozens of times by that point and we had mastered the art of navigating stress free, staying through the most spectacular fireworks show in the world at midnight.
