Our Exoticca adventure to Ireland in March exceeded our expectations. The weather was quite pleasant with very little rain, the countryside was gorgeously green and the daffodils were in full bloom everywhere we ventured. Our group of 28 had an excellent, knowledgeable tour guide who was with us throughout the entire trip, along with a master bus driver who navigated the roads and highways of Ireland. We were very pleased with our accommodations, excursions, and the many stops we made along the way. In addition, knowing Vivian was just a text or email away if a concern arose was very comforting. She was more than helpful in the planning and preparation prior to our departure. We definitely would recommend both Exoticca and Vivian to anyone looking to add some travel to their calendar!

Just got back from our Perú trip. This was our 5th Exoticca trip but first booked through Vivian. I am glad we did. First she was able to fix our hotels in destination. We added an extra night at the beginning and one at the end and they had us staying in different hotels. She was able to make sure we didn’t have to change hotels. During our trip, one of our internal flights did not happen due to the carrier changing the time without telling anyone. Vivian was able to work with Exoticca to rebook a different flight. We will definitely use @viviannguyen to book our next trip!!

What an amazing journey. The trip of a lifetime! It’ll be hard to decide on another place to see as this truly was the top place of all my travels. Vivian was wonderful. Vivian was such a great help on our Exoticca tour of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, which was interrupted by the gulf war. We were stuck in Abu Dhabi when the airspace closed because of the missile and drone attacks. Vivian worked with us and Exoticca tirelessly until late at night for several days, through many iterations of canceled flights, until we were finally able to fly out. It was a much more difficult and stressful experience for other stranded tourists who did not book through Vivian. But we were relaxed because she was continuously working on our behalf. Vivian is our hero!

When researching our holiday, we came across several social media threads for out trip (South Africa and Zanzibar) mentioning that they had "booked with Vee" and recommend it highly. At first I questioned, why would I book my Exoticca trip with an agent, but soon came to understand why it is such a useful and and important decision. You want Vivian in your corner anytime you have to handle postponements, uncertainty or unclear communication from on location Exoticca Partners. In no particular order, here are things that Vee helped with over the duration of our two week holiday: Advised us on what recommendations previous clients of hers had for our particular trip in the time prior to our travels Gave us a 1 week before travel checklist to help with our planning Reviewed our (automated change) flight changes and contacted the airlines on our behalf to ensure the best options for our travels were ensured. This happened on multiple occasions including our outbound flight (we secured a better layover time), internal flights ( to update our pickup drivers directly with the new collection times from the hotel) and our return flights ( handling a pilot strike and securing the best return flight we could get in the circumstances) Handled contact with the on locations partners that Exoticca work with to ensure transfers were rescheduled and confirmed in advance. Gave us peace of mind on our trip - this was a once in a lifetime trip for us, and Vee ensured that we could relax as much as possible that all of our Exoticca based itinerary was being handled. Without doubt, we will book with Vee again on any future Exoticca trips.

The hotels were super and the cruise wonderful. The guide we had on the cruise was spectacular (Zezu). When we weren't sure about things, Vivian found the information for us right away. She was always on top of things.

Why would you book direct with Exoticca and have a poor experience when you can do the EXACT same thing, same price, use the same credits, same trip, … same everything AND couple that with actual amazing service? From the very start, Vivian took care of everything for me including flights.She sent some instructions to follow for the following months, which I neglected to read. However, a week before my trip, she reminded me again, whether I had booked my seats or not, which I hadn't. I had booked directly with Exoticca before, but this time I decided to ask Vivian to help me with the planning, since I wanted to add a day before and one after the tour ended, as well as direct flights from Miami to Zurich, something that it wasn't easy to do through the website. From the very first contact, Vivian was always very quick to respond every question or request, even though she is on a different time zone as me in the US. Two weeks before the start of the tour, I needed to know in which hotel I'd be staying in Zurich, so a friend could stay in the same hotel, and I couldn't find out through Exoticca. I asked Vivian, and she sent me a message at 5 am her time, making it possible for my friend to book the room in an almost sold-out hotel. The trip went well, with no incidents, thankfully, but from what I've had read from others, if I had any problem, I know that Vivian would be there for me. The trip was amazing, I would change a few things but overall 5 stars. Vivian was especially helpful as she worked to find accommodations that would suit my dad who recently had hip surgery. Vivian also helped us navigate some flight issues when our first return flight was delayed causing us to miss our connections. Only needed the tour portions and was coming from the UK then heading home to Canada. A quick stop off at the Azores on our way. Vivian was able to book and get my discounts applied. Short tour with only 3 trips. I had to reach out to Exoticca as an issue with the time of one of the tours. Ended up getting some credit back, so not sure if this was because I booked through Vee. On my return home from India Golden Triangle tour, my flight was delayed this causes me to miss my other connection flights. I get in-touch with Vivian and she called the tour company right away, they tried their best to help get me home with other options available. It didn't work out since I checked in with the airline while they were trying to me other flights. Vivian also contacted the travel insurance for me and tell me what would be cover on my missed flights. At the end it all worked out well since the airline provided the accommodations for my delayed flight. And the travel insurance covered enough to return home. I would recommend Vivian as the travel agent to anyone, she works hard and has best advice.

I booked my Gate 1 trip with Vivian because others on facebook recommended her. She handled everything pre-trip so I didn't have to go through anyone else. The trip went so smoothly and everything was according to plan. When we found out we had to pay for our guided trip in a national park even though it was supposed to be included in the tour (the government started to limit visitor numbers in the park), Vivian submitted my payment to Gate 1 for reimbursement. When my first flight home got delayed, Vivian somehow knew when it happened and contacted me immediately. She tried to find me alternative flights and spoke with the airline for me. She notified my travel insurance company. When my flight was canceled, she continued to assist me. I would give Vivian 10 stars!

My wife and I did the 12 day trip to Jordan with Exoticca and retuned home in Mid April. Vivian was our travel agent and she was top notch She was extremely proactive and responded to every request and questions (always within hours).
