About Me

Grand Palace Grandeur
Grand Palace Grandeur

Thailand is a country that meets you exactly where you want to be. It can be as vibrant or as quiet as you wish, from the energy of late-night city scenes to the stillness of hidden beaches and the ease of slow village life. What stood out most to me was how seamlessly it shifts between these worlds, allowing each day to feel entirely different, yet equally immersive.

I’ve been to Thailand multiple times. Every time I go, I want something different than the time before. From an island yoga retreat with daily spa treatments to swimming around skyscrapers in a mile-high pool, Thailand always has what I’m looking for.

A Culture of Bright Colors

Bangkok’s historic heart is extraordinary. Wandering the Grand Palace is like stepping into a living masterpiece. Intricate mosaic detailing and vivid colors greet you at every bend. I’ve been there multiple times, and I always notice something new with each visit. Admire the sacred Emerald Buddha (note his clothes, the king personally changes them for every season) in Wat Phra Kaew. Nearby, compare your height to the bottom of Wat Pho’s foot, the largest reclining Buddha in Thailand.

During my most recent trip to Thailand, I flew north to Chiang Mai and ascended Wat Phra That Doi Suthep at sunset. It was unforgettable. The golden stupa glowed as monks moved through evening rituals. One of my favorite details at this temple is the Naga Staircase with vibrant seven-headed dragons that form the railings.

Beyond the temples, there’s different cultural rhythm in Thailand’s hidden alleys and markets, such as Bangkok’s Talat Noi, where heritage shophouses now hold artisan cafés and striking street art. Just outside the city, the energy of the Maeklong Railway Market is mesmerizing with vendors moving with precision as the train passes through.

Vibrant Hidden Coves and Beaches

Thailand’s coastline offers a rare sense of stillness and seclusion. There are so many ways to explore all the gems of this area. Discover hidden beaches and vibrant coral reefs in Phang Nga Bay on long-tail boats. Explore Phang Nga Hong tidal caves by kayak. Take part in a traditional floating krathong ceremony. Jump into the turquoise waters around the Phi Phi islands.

On shore, be sure to check out the charming beach villages. In Phuket, the coastline is alive with color, longtail boats painted in bright ribbons, cafés spilling onto the sand, and a rhythm that feels quietly vibrant. I love to rent scooters right along the sand, stop for ice cream in open air shops, and wander between casual beachside cafés, all with the ocean just a few steps away. These little beach towns create a sense of place that feels both elevated and genuinely local.

Where Foodie Traditions Meet Fun

Thailand’s culinary scene is refined, deeply rooted in tradition, and not afraid to have fun! My favorite restaurant offers a beautiful introduction to royal Thai cuisine, presented with elegance in a historic setting, so travelers have a foundation and understanding of Thai food.

But equally memorable is Thailand’s street food culture. It’s vibrant, authentic, and full of character. For a more hands on experience, I also love a rum cocktail workshop inspired by Thai botanicals, a thoughtful and engaging way to connect with local flavors.

Hotel Highlights

Luxury in Thailand feels intentional and deeply personal.

At Capella Bangkok, the city fades into the background. Set along the Chao Phraya River, it is a true oasis where privacy and service are seamlessly delivered. The breakfast here was by far the best hotel breakfast in my life! I recommend treating it as a full brunch affair.

In Phuket, Banyan Tree Phuket offers an elevated villa experience. My favorite option is a villa with the master bedroom surrounded by a walled private swim-out pool. The expansive private space creates a sense of calm and exclusivity that defines the stay. (Industry secret – between us, the Banyan Tree Beach Club turned down a certain famous flower-themed show.)

Planning Your Thailand Luxury Trip

Thailand is a study in contrast, where ancient tradition meets modern refinement, and where each experience can be tailored with intention and care. If you have been considering Thailand, I would be delighted to design a journey that brings these moments to life in a way that feels entirely your own.I believe travel should feel personal. Travel shouldn’t be just a checklist of places, but a collection of “Core Memory” moments that connect back to you. This is why I’m so intentional when I design trips for my clients. I’m not just recommending places; I’m thinking about the experiences, the details, and the little moments that will make it your trip.

The best experience and best planned trip ever!!
Reviewed By William - 1376 Hanover Street Yorktown Heights NY 10598 | Traveled to Cairo ~ Egypt ~ Africa
Working with Gabrielle Estel on our first trip to another continent was an absolute pleasure. She is responsible for making this trip to Egypt the best trip my family has ever taken. She was super patient, knowledgeable and kind throughout the planning process. Gabrielle was always there to take my calls before our departure on this elaborate trip. We were a little nervous that everything would work out as planned. The trip was flawless, and Gabrielle made that possible. I called her often during planning and she was always there to answer her phone and she did so cheerfully. My wife and two children had a wonderful time. The resort in Cairo and Luxor were beautiful. The private tour guides were prompt, very accommodating and knowledgeable. The private tour was the best decision we made. Next time we plan a trip, we will be calling Gabrielle for sure!

Food and Family Fun in Italy and Greece!
Reviewed By Melinda - Iowa City, Iowa | Traveled to Italy ~ Europe
Gabrielle-

We had a great trip. All hotels were perfect. The tours were great and the transportation worked great. I was impressed that even with flight delays they were waiting for us. Greece had an added benefit that both in Athens and Mykonos we were met by a travel representative and driver. The rep gave us a personal number if we needed anything and they were fast to respond. The cooking classes were prefect. It was hot the whole time we were there, but we completed almost everything.

Thanks so much for your hard work!
