In Munich our family visited Dachau, which was a sobering and important experience, and balanced it with time at one of the city's famous beer gardens. That kind of trip, where you go deep into a destination rather than just skimming the surface, is exactly what I love helping clients plan.

And leading up to your trip I stay in touch with reminders and updates, including things like new entry requirements that most travelers wouldn't think to check. The UK recently introduced a new ETA requirement for American travelers, for example, and knowing about that in advance makes a real difference.
