Walking over Charles Bridge with statues of saints, and musicians to entertain you, complete with chimney cakes filled with apple or ice cream. Its a lovely way to spend the evening, after a good meal. There are cruises on the Vltava river, some just sightseeing, some with dinner and music. old town Prague, with its cobblestone streets, Gothic churches, market squares is a UNESCO World Heritage sight, and just a neat place to be.  

The largest castle complex in Europe is in Prague, centered around the 9th century Gothic church, and the wonderful shopping and strolling on Wenceslas Square, where you will find the statue of King Wenceslas on his horse in front of the national museum. This also where the "Velvet Revolution" happened.

Prague also is the home to many beers. You can even experience a dip in a Beer spa, with a beer to enjoy. There is a Strahov Monastary Brewery on the hill with fantastic views of the city.

Prague is an excellent location for day trips. Bohemian vineyards, Karlovy Vary, Terezin, Kunta Hora, and Pilsen, home to Pilsner Urquell Brewery.

We loved the sights, the sounds, the chimney cakes. I would return, and to do all the day trips.
