The name my parents gave me is Catherine, but most people know me as “Bit.” My grandfather first called me “Lilbit” when I was four, and it stuck until adulthood. These days, it’s simply Bit — short, sweet, and easy to remember on the road.

I’m an Arizona native who’s called Tucson home for all of my 61 years. I’m a cowboy at heart, a children’s author, a daughter, mother, grandmother, and photographer. But above all else, I am a sojourner — a seeker of wonder and wisdom found in faraway places, quiet moments, and the stories we carry home from the road.

As a Verified Travel Advisor with ASTA, a Fáilte Ireland Certified Ireland Expert, and a Quark Certified Polar Expedition Specialist, I specialize in meaningful, immersive journeys — from cozy pubs in Ireland to the wilds of Antarctica, and from the Scottish Highlands to the sun-washed streets of Andalusia.

While the Misty Isles of Ireland and Scotland will always be a part of my soul (and my specialty), my business has grown to embrace worldwide travel — including guided bus tours, custom small group journeys, and mid-range to luxury cruises, including Atlantic repositioning crossings.

Whether it’s a self-drive escape, a family adventure, or a curated cruise itinerary, I work with you to shape an experience that’s seamless, soulful, and unforgettable.

Over the past 19 years, Ireland has become as familiar to me as my own backyard — and I’ve returned more than 28 times. There’s a bit of faery magic in the way Ireland welcomes you, and I love helping others feel that same sense of belonging and wonder. When I’m not traveling with clients, I’m often scouting new sites, unique lodgings, and hidden gems across her 32 counties.

But it doesn’t stop there. I’ve helped clients plan everything from vow renewals in castle courtyards to bucket-list polar expeditions, from repositioning cruises across oceans to cultural deep dives in Europe’s tucked-away corners.

My approach is simple: take the time to listen, build the trip you want, then elevate it with thoughtful touches and plenty of time to savor the journey.
