Behind the scenes of Abroad with Ease is me, Heather. I have been a professional travel planner since 2022 and the unofficial family travel coordinator for decades before that. I am a natural project manager, a mom, and a former higher education administrator, which means I am comfortable juggling logistics, timelines, and a lot of moving pieces.Travel planning just happens to be the most enjoyable way I use those skills. I specialize in thoughtful, well-paced trips that feel seamless from start to finish. I plan everything from domestic travel to international adventures, including fully curated, bespoke experiences. My sweet spots are family travel, solo trips, and group travel, especially moms’ trips and ladies’ getaways, where the details truly matter and expectations are high.My planning focus is Western Europe, with a deep specialty in Scotland. I love the landscapes, history, walkable cities, and strong sense of place, and I am especially passionate about helping first-time international travelers feel confident stepping out into the world. I enjoy showing clients just how approachable, enriching, and joyful traveling abroad can be.What I love most about this work is taking the overwhelm out of international travel.
