World cruises have become increasingly popular with more and more cruise lines offering them at various price points, levels of luxury, and options. A world cruise is more than just seeing the world while packing and unpacking just once. They tend to spend far more time at each stop, so you really get a chance to see the world without trying to fit every stop into a few hours!

Planning a world cruise is nothing like planning normal cruises, there is so much involved in such a long-term commitment.

Things to consider before you plan your cruise:

• The cruise line and ship you will be on. This can be more important than the stops. It's your home for quite some time, so it should fit your style. You can go with higher-end luxury, such as Silversea, Cunard, Oceana, and Regent. But you may be more comfortable with other levels of luxury and comfort with cruise lines such as Azamara, Holland America, Viking, Princess, and even MSC or Royal Caribbean. You will also want to consider the size of the ship based on your comfort.

• The length of the world cruise. They range from roughly 100 days to as much as 274 days! In most cases, you can take only segments of the cruise if you want to shorten the trip.

• Time to Prepare. It requires time and planning. You may have visa and vaccination requirements, and planning for mail while you are away. This can become overwhelming, but that is a very big part of where I come in because I will have it all covered for you.

The services I will provide you before, during and after your world cruise are extensive, all are included with no service fee. Here is a basic idea of what to expect:

• Choosing Your World Cruise - First of all, I will work diligently to help you choose the perfect for you. I will help you find the perfect balance that meets your needs, in terms of the cruise line, itinerary, price, travel, stateroom/suite, and more to assure this is the perfect world cruise for you.

• Booking Your World Cruise - Together, we will book your cruise for you and choose your stateroom or suite based on availability and your desires.

• Pricing Guarantees and Upgrades - Each time there is a price change for your cruise and category, I will be notified. If the price is lowered, I will work with the cruise line according to their policy to get your price matched. In many cases, this can result in a cabin upgrade at a lower cost!

• World Cruise Preparation - As noted above, I will help guide you through all visa requirements and vaccination needs so that you are ready to go with no stress.

• Shore Planning - World Cruises generally offer many shore excursions as part of their package, but if you have special desires, I am able to work with locals everywhere in the world to arrange some of the most unique and amazing experiences you can imagine.

• Mail & Communication During Your World Cruise - At your request, I will personally provide you with a special postal address, and if you desire, a phone number that works over the internet, and an email address during your trip. All you need to do is forward your mail to the address I provide you during your time away, and every piece of mail that arrives is automatically scanned into a website. Whenever you desire, you can log into the website and see all of your mail. The phone number will be a United States or Canadian phone number that will allow you to make and receive calls anywhere in the world without International charges, as long as you have an Internet connection.

• I am Your Emergency Contact - During your world cruise, I will provide you with all forms of contact information that you can provide family. If there is any need, I will always be there to help take care of any problems that may arise.

• And just about anything else. Flights, hotel reservations, celebrations, you name it. I want to make this the perfect trip of a lifetime for you.

What will it cost?

My services are included in the cruise fare, even though I will always try to get you the best fare possible! The cost of a world cruise will depend entirely on a combination of the cruise line you choose, the duration, and the accommodations you choose. You can do a ~100 night world cruise on a line such as Princess or MSC in a lower category cabin for as low as about $22,000 per person. But you can also do an all-inclusive luxury world cruise in a suite on Silversea for more than $200,000 per person. And then there is everything in between, averaging between $60,000 and $80,000 per person for nicer rooms on upscale ships.
