Our trip to Jamaica was scheduled right on the heels of hurricane Beryl. As a result, there was a lot of doubt as to whether we could actually go and what conditions would be like if we did. Mitch was great to work with! He really knows his resorts and knows the pros and cons of every one. We loved working with him planning our destination wedding at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres. He worked hard to ensure he was transparent about what he knew about the hotel (the good and the bad) and was always super responsive/ ensured we were able to lock in our room block. Mitch also surprised my husband and I with a limo at the airport to pick us up, which was the perfect way to kick off our wedding week. I reached out to Mitch for assistance in setting up a vacation with my girlfriend - our first one outside of the country together. A Wedding to Remember!

Mitch was absolutely amazing to work with! We started planning our wedding about two years in advance, and he helped us from the very beginning — starting with finding the perfect location that fit both our budget and our guests’ spending limits. He was incredibly honest and detailed, giving us the pros and cons of each resort along with helpful insights about the food, beach, cocktails, and feedback from previous clients.
Once we chose our resort, Mitch and his team coordinated all 85 of our guests’ bookings, including transportation. We didn’t have to lift a finger — it made everything so easy and stress-free for us as the bride and groom.
He even helped us find an amazing resort for our honeymoon and arranged everything seamlessly, including private transportation to and from both resorts.

Mitch helped coordinate our hotel block for our wedding in Playa Mujeres in early November 2025. He helped schedule a site visit trip, then the actual booking of all the rooms for the wedding itself. In the beginning of the process, Mitch and his team were very patient with me as I ask A LOT of questions. I wanted to make sure the resort we chose was going to be the best fit for our budget, our guests, the physical wedding (with package options), and customer service/communication during the planning process. There were a few mishaps along the way, on the resort end, but Mitch and his team were kind, always tried to help guide in a positive manner, and in the end we felt very comfortable with our decision. He also was able to help negotiate a resort credit for our guests due to the communication issues with the resort. I would give my experience a 10/10 with Mitch and his team. We have used Trip Guy Travel for at over a dozen trips and I can say that they have all gone smoothly. From the time I contacted them up until the time I walked back into my home. They have always followed up with me about documents I needed to take and given me numbers to reach out to them if I needed anything while on my travels. My transfer from the hotel to my destination has always been spot on as well as my transportation back to the airport for our return flight. If I find a trip on line they usually can match or beat the price and give me a little something extra - like private transportation. Wow! I don't even know where to begin to praise this company for coordinating our destination wedding in Cancun. Our initial contact with Mitch was perfect; his expertise on the different resorts was evident from our first conversation. Mitch and his team have been helping us with planning our wedding. From start to finish they guided us through all the steps. We are finally in the phase of our guest starting to book their rooms. An amazing wedding made easy

Mitch, TripGuy, and their staff, are amazing! They helped us plan our destination wedding in Cancun.
First they provided a trove of information on so many hotels in Riviera Maya. The style, cost, pros/cons which allowed us make a decision. This process involved multiple calls as we were hesitant/scared to make the wrong decision but Mitch was patient, reassuring and helpful throughout it all. With his help we were able to choose Dreams Vista Cancun.
Once the decision was made, Mitch and TripGuy reached out to the hotel and were able to get us an amazing price for ourselves and our guests. They then were able to help all our guests (100+) book their hotel and schedule their pick up, even the ones that were not the most comfortable with technology.
Our pick up went amazingly, we were greeted with a limousine and had a great drive to the hotel.
The wedding went amazingly and we are extremely happy and thankful for Mitch and TripGuy. We made the right choice choosing them!

Wow!!!! did we fall in love with his recommendation. Mitch said try Palamia the House of AIA. We asked for something relaxing with amazing food. I feel like everybody must come here to experience this serenity. Its hard to find amazing food, beach, rooms, and staff. Customer service was incredible it took 3 seconds to check in. We were upgraded to Beach front top floor. The beach was incredible clear and perfect blue color no rocks or seaweed. The spa was out of this world. It was the best massage we every experienced. The treatments were all natural even the steam room was producing steam from fire wood. The food was indescribable. Mitch was fantastic to work as always especially in times of peril. We were supposed to travel to Jamaica the day Hurricane Beryl was scheduled to hit the island. At first when we needed to make changes due to the hurricane, one of his other co workers said we would be in penalty and it seemed or was implied we would face extra costs for the changes to our reservations but Mitch & Laurie jumped in and made the necessary changes AND handled the situation swiftly & professionally.

5 Star Reosrt on a Beautiful Property

We tasked Mitch with finding a top rated resort in and around Cancun. We had availed ourselves of Mitch’s services in the past and were never disappointed in the resorts he recommended. This time was no exception. The resort and its amenities were as he described-The Iberostar Grand and its sister resorts sit on some of the most beautiful and well kept grounds that I have ever encountered in that area. Simply gorgeous with the occasional peacock or pink flamingos wandering past you. The service at the Grand was top notch and included butlers who were always eager to accommodate your every need. The food at all the restaurants was very good, with the Venetian Italian being the best. Mitch took the time to secure reservations at each of the 4 specialty restaurants on 4 of the 6 nights we were there. Fortunately he did because the restaurants fill up fast and on the only available seating was for 8:30pm on the other days. We look forward to working with Mitch in the future.

I mean where do I start about TripGuy ??? This was the best decision my wife and I ever made (besides getting married). From start to finish Mitch and his team (especially Mark) were there to guide us along the way through choosing the perfect destination location for our wedding. The insight that each team member was able to provide gave us an opportunity to make a very informed decision on where we wanted to tie the knot. Obviously weddings can be stressful and having to plan one can be too. Let me assure you, these folks take care of EVERYTHING. All you need to do is be present and communicate what you need.
