I'm a travel nut, and I don't care who knows it!  After travelling extensively on my own for over 25 years, I've decided its time to offer my knowledge to clients as a travel adviser.  My first big trip out of the country was a backpacking tour of Europe that I planned for a close friend and I, and I haven't stopped since.  

Before becoming a travel adviser, I worked for large corporations such as Deloitte and Credit Suisse, and worked for myself for the last 15 years.  Until COVID, I had a corporate event planning business (I'm big on planning and logistics), but my heart wasn't in it to restart it, so here I am! 

It's extremely important to me that all of the details are thought through, unless you want to leave time for wandering.  There is a certain thrill of waking up in the morning and getting on a train in Europe or India or somewhere else and just seeing where it takes you.  

I've travelled extensively to about 40 countries and most of the US States (Hawaii and Montana, I'm coming for you!).  My mother retired to France, so I know many parts of Europe very well from my many visits.   I was also in the Peace Corps in Cameroon mid-career, so I've got lots of tricks and tips for sub-Saharan Africa! 

I personally practice what I like to call a "high-low" vacation strategy.  I think it can be numbing and a bit isolating to be in ultimate luxury an entire trip.  I enjoy the opportunity to eat street food, stay in a more communal type hotel, and ride moto-taxis on occasion.  Great stories come from taking chances - not necessarily life-threatening ones, but ones that take you down a path you might not expect.  

My ideal clients are those looking for a combination of activities and relaxation- many times on the same trip.  Whether its riding ATVs in the Arabian Dessert, visiting a school for miniature painting in Udaipur, or going to the opera in Budapest, I've done it, and I want to help you create memories too!
