I love broadening clients views on how to travel.  There are so many options available nowadays that it can be overwhelming.  I have traveled on custom itineraries as well as on guided tours with companies and I have found great elements to both.  Clients often come to me wanting to just travel with their family or their spouse or a friend so I reach out to my suppliers who are well versed on custom itineraries and build a wonderful one of a kind trip for them.  I send it off and often hear that it is way over budget and we haven't even added tours and transfers.  I explain custom is often a much more expensive way to travel with variables we can not control and it takes a lot of work to put it together.  So I then try and introduce them to guided tours and what they have to offer.  Guided tours and tour companies have changed a lot over the years, they are now offering choices on tour and experiences which are really one of a kind.  They handle all transportation and accommodations and any issues along the way.

I like to offer my clients the best of both worlds.  I help find a tour company that fits the level of travel they enjoy and has a tour with all the sights and experiences they want. Then I book a few days before and a few days after the tour which we customize just for them.  it is my way of giving people the one of a kind vacation with a budget in mind and all the stress of things going wrong taken out of it.

I offer this as well to my cruise clients so they can have a bit more time in a location before or after a cruise.
