About Me

I am Certified Autism Travel Professional through The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). This training and program was created to help travel professionals assist families and individuals with special needs prepare for their perfect vacation. A Certified Autism Travel Professional™ (CATP) is defined as a professional who has demonstrated that they are both knowledgeable and capable of providing support and travel-related services to an individual on the autism spectrum as well as their family. In addition, I was a public elementary school special education teacher for 17 years and am currently an Exceptional Student Service Specialist. 1 in 36 children are diagnosed with Autism in the US, many adults were never formally diagnosed, and 1 in 6 people have a sensory need or sensitivity. I understand the fears and worry of traveling for people with special needs. I want to help make your traveling stress-free!
