I have always loved beach vacations so much that I eventually traded the white snow of Pennsylvania for the white sand of the Florida Panhandle. My first visit to Destin, Florida was for my 18th wedding anniversary. From the moment I arrived I felt at home. I fell in love with the beach, the warm Gulf waters, and the friendly people who make this area so special. Not long after that trip, we sold our home in Pennsylvania and made the move. It has been one of the best decisions of my life.

Living here has only deepened my passion for the Florida Panhandle. The beaches are beautiful, the sunsets are unforgettable, and the entire area has a laid-back charm that draws visitors back year after year. While I may call it home now, I still explore the area the way a tourist would.
