When I book a trip for my clients, I always emphasize the importance of culture. To me, experiencing a new culture and immersing yourself in the local traditions of the destination you choose is one of the best parts about traveling. It's what allows you to grow as a person, and gain a better understanding of the world around you.

I have been in the travel industry for more than 30 years, and I love to share my passion for travel and my love of culture with my clients. I was born in Peru and I began my career in travel there, taking groups to see Machu Picchu and explore the beautiful local jungles.

Now I am based out of the United States and currently represent the largest tour operator out of Peru. I specialize in creating personalized itineraries for my clients that include recommendations for local activities and the best meals available in any given destination.

I am an expert in the following destinations:

• Peru — As a native of Peru, I can provide my clients with first-hand experiences and personal recommendations. I help them understand what to expect while they are on their trip, and I remind them that they can't pass up my favorite meal — ceviche!
• Spain — Spain is a wonderful European country to visit, as it has many scenic areas to explore and is home to some of the friendliest people in the world. Of course, the authentic cuisine is incredible. I always recommend the paella!
• Mexico, Aruba and the Dominican Republic — I have traveled to these sun destinations many times, allowing me to feel comfortable recommending these countries to my clients. I know they will be able to relax, soak up the sun and enjoy delicious food. The enchiladas are absolutely delicious!
