I enjoy my job as a Miami travel agent specialist because Miami is a one-of-a-kind paradise and destination. Not only is it home to some great beaches, it also provides plenty of attractions for anyone seeking some respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The area most closely associated with Miami is perhaps South Beach, which  has been portrayed in numerous movies and television shows. It represents a wide stretch of white sand that extends a little over two miles north of South Pointe Park. Punctuated by vibrant lifeguard stations and surrounded by Ocean Drive's unique cityscape of Art Deco architecture, the area is a showcase for sidewalk eateries and boutique hotels.  Further north, you’ll run into the  more sedate beaches of the Mid-Beach and North Beach communities - neighborhoods with  a very laid-back character, which offer plenty of room for you to spread your blanket over sea-grape covered dunes. The picturesque mile-long Surfside Beach and posh Bal Harbour are located still further north. Visit Florida’s first officially sanctioned  nudist beach, Haulover Beach, where you can go swimming and enjoy the sun, unrestricted,  if you’re so inclined. The beach, farthest to the  north, is Sunny Isles Beach, which is also home to the Newport Fishing Pier.  Greater Miami and the surrounding area is home to a plethora of intriguing attractions, from the breathtaking natural wonders of Biscayne National Park and the Everglades to the picture-perfect buildings of South Beach's Art Deco Historic District.  I can add any of the above attractions to your travel itinerary. If you love history, I recommend a visit to the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, a charming Italianate estate overlooking Biscayne Bay in Coconut Grove. If you enjoy the arts, the Wynwood Arts District is the ideal place to discover the fascinating world of street art. You can find it at Wynwood Walls, an outdoor gallery devoted to the genre, as well as all around this popular and trendy area.  Or, take a stroll to the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), which is located in Downtown Miami. The spectacular building was constructed by Pritzker Prize–winning architects Herzog & de Meuron, and overlooks Biscayne Bay. Browse its collection of modern American art. The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science, which features a planetarium and an aquarium, is right next door and offers breathtaking sights. The great outdoors has plenty of entertaining options of its own. Get out on the water and see Greater Miami from a new angle by taking an airboat trip through the Everglades. Plan a boat ride to Millionaires' Row, and embark on your journey from Biscayne Bay. You might also  rent a kayak or paddleboard to have a closer look at the fascinating aquatic ecosystems in this southernmost part of Florida.
