Anniversary trip to remember

We planned on celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary with a 14 night vacation to Bora Bora and Moorea however our anniversary was during the height of the pandemic. After postponing our dream vacation twice, we were finally able to go this past October. Words cannot describe how amazing this trip was! Others may have been stressed over the postponement (twice) but not us. Working with Julie at Postcard Getaways made the entire process so easy and reassuring for us. During the initial booking process she helped guide us in making the best choices to protect our (significant) investment in the chance that postponing or cancellations may happen. She was in constant contact providing us updates on rebooking, new itineraries and even had a bottle of champagne waiting in ourUPGRADES room on arrival. Nothing short of perfect!

My husband and I traveled to the Riviera Maya for the first time and it was nothing we could've ever dreamed of. We gave Julie a destination, budget and general idea of what we were interested in and the rest was history. She assured us that if she wouldn't stay somewhere, she definitely wouldn't let her clients stay their either. All we had to do was basically show up to the airport. Our transfers were booked to, from, between and return all our destinations and excursions on top of our accommodations, dining and flights. I highly recommend her services. You will NOT be disappointed. Thank you soooo much!! Looking forward to many more vacations.

First of many cruises!

We finally went on our first cruise and it was AMAZING! My husband and I had never been on a cruise before so we were really hesitant. Wanting to see Alaska so bad, we thought we’d talk to a travel agent about the best options. We never used an agent before either. My husband is a Firefighter so Julie stood out to us. From the first time we talked, we hit it off great. She not only helped us decide to cruise, but on the perfect size ship (Norwegian) and the most amazing excursions. We are definitely hooked on cruises and using an agent for our travels.

Amazing Getaway!

We have never used a travel agent before, but scrolling through agents in our state I came across Julie, a first responder and a travel agent. BINGO! I knew that she would be exactly what 2 healthcare people needed to plan their vacation. From the very beginning, Julie was exceptionally easy to work with. I gave her what we were looking for and she quickly came back with a lot of options for us to look at. She made us aware of resources her company offered (transfers, insurance, excursions), but also let us know of "other" options that may have fit us better that weren't associated with her. She was always open to what would make our trip the best! The week of our trip, she checked in with us to make sure we were all set , even sent us 2 floaties to enjoy in the water! She let us know that we could contact her at anytime during our trip and gave us her personal number. Never thought I'd have to use it, but when I did, she was right there! You are amazing Julie

Despite unforeseen circumstances, a fire at our original resort, Julie’s swift response and ability to secure alternative accommodations at Haven Riviera were truly impressive and saved our vacation. Her positive and reassuring attitude throughout the process alleviated any anxieties we may have had. Julie went above and beyond to ensure that our trip was not only salvaged but also enhanced with her thoughtful suggestions, recommendations and personal connections with the resort upgrading us to Serenity level and the special perks she threw in.
We truly appreciate her adaptability and resourcefulness, which saved us from any significant disruptions or inconveniences. To be honest, we didn’t even miss Atelier. Haven felt like Heaven!
Overall, we couldn't be more pleased. We will definitely be using her services again in the future, and I encourage others to do the same.

Dream Vacation

Julie planned out such a perfect first getaway for us. From tipping recommendations and packing recommendations to details on how to get through the airport to meet our ride to the all inclusive resort, If we had any questions during our stay Julie answered immediately calming this first time international travelers nerves. Beyond expectations

Completely honest, We were hesitant to use a travel agent out of fear that the trip costs would be higher, we'd encounter fees and end up with surprise charges. We've always booked travel
through Costco, Direct or Expedia/AAA, so it was a complete shock to not only find out this agent could price match those sites, she ended up getting us a room upgrade for
free! Best yet, there was no surprise fees, or charges for Julies services! We actually felt guilty for all the work we had her do,
especially when our flight home was cancelled. She was able to get us a hotel room for an extra night and did all the communication on our behalf with the airline while we enjoyed an unexpected extra night on the island. I don't
know why we didn't use a travel agent sooner. We highly recommend Julie and the service you’ll receive from Postcard Getaways.

Awesome Nickelodeon Stay!

Stop looking, and go with this agent! I feel bad for the delayed review but am currently working on my second trip with this agent and felt the need to post this... This past fall we planned a trip to the DR. We were a bit hesitant about which resort to visit however working with Julie, she helped us pick the perfect one. We ended up taking our 3 kids, aged 7, 8 and 10 to the Nickelodeon Resort and it was AMAZING! Even with some amenities limited due to covid, Julie worked with us to find nearby activities that supplemented and kept the kids happy the entire trip. Her attention to detail and patience is top notch.
