As novice world travelers, we thoroughly enjoyed each place we touched down. In addition to the first class Emerald River Cruise, our visits to Paris, Basel, Amsterdam, and Brugge gave us a glimpse into the rich history of Europe. We're very thankful that Shelli engaged Railbookers to complete our rail travel and accommodation arrangements, as it certainly eliminated the stress of managing these details. Everything went well and according to plan - no hiccups at all. We decided to plan a trip to Europe with another couple. We originally thought we would like to bike & barge because we are active seniors and heard good things about that type of trip. We went to Shelli for some help and the plan was a constant evolution on our part.... and Shelli just rolled with it. We couldn't quite figure out the best option for a bike & barge, and she recommended the river cruise (definitely an awesome way to travel) . Everything included, good itinerary - we thought that sounded good and then we just started throwing out ideas to work the that. We thought the Bernina Express (highly recommend ) would be a site to see. Why not check out Milan if the starting point for the Bernina was going to be Tirano, Italy! If we are ending the cruise in Amsterdam, we should go see Brugges Belgium before getting to Paris :) We had so many ideas and our friends had other ideas. We overlapped on the cruise and a bit more. Shelli made it all work. Set us up with the cruise, trains, hotels, tickets, etc. Everything went as planned and it was nice to know we could have called Shelli if it didn't, but there was no need. My trips for the next while will be camping again, but it's good to know I can call Shelli again if we plan another trip and I know our friends were very happy as well. An excellent adventure was had by all!

I have never worked with a travel agent before, but I’m very glad I reached out to Shelli to help me navigate river cruising as this was our first time. She was able to provide first hand experience and recommendations, and was even able to get us some credits which covered our gratuities! Seeing the gorillas in Rwanda was something I’ve dreamed of doing since I can remember. I never thought I could pull it together. With Shelli’s connections, her meticulous organizational skills, knowledge and expertise of all things (“wear long socks to keep the red ants away and thick soles shoes to prevent the sticks from penetrating into your feet”) she has created an itinerary for my family that is beyond anything I could have imagined. My son is immunocompromised and could not get the mandated yellow fever vaccine (an unexpected challenge and setback). Not only did Shelli help maintain calm during this VERY stressful time, she immediately went into action and used her network of contacts to connect with the biomedical agency in Rwanda and not only did we get a medical exemption, she arranged for a VIP reception at the airport to ensure smooth entry into the country for me and my children. I could go on and on but suffice to say, I would not be going on this dream vacation AND I would be out thousands of dollar if not for Shelli springing into action the way she did. Last year she did something similar when our flight to Iceland suddenly got cancelled the night before our trip and we nearly missed our 12 day Icelandic cruise. She didn’t sleep that entire night as she was frantically working to secure a new route for us which miraculously she did and salvaged our vacation at the last hour. Sure I could have saved a few bucks doing this by myself but would it have been worth it? No way! She makes the process easy, efficient, enjoyable and listens.. I mean really listens to what is important to me and then she stops at nothing to deliver that and more. Don’t think about it, just call her. In the past we have had a medicore experience with travel agents. It has felt forced, not genuine and little savings. Shelli is a rockstar and one of a kind in this industry.
