Leisure Travel Specialist

Recently, we planned, with the help of Mel from Travel Best Bets, a trip to the US West Coast. Mel was amazing and made the process smooth, seamless, and stress free! Once we chose our destinations, Mel handled everything from flights, hotels, train travel and car rental. Everything was on one itinerary, and we were able to print out and take with us, including detailed descriptions, directions to each hotel, car rental contract, train tickets…it was all in one spot. There were also suggestions for excursions at each stop. All the information was also included on Trip Plans App, which we used religiously.
We can’t say enough about the complete care we received going on this trip to a place we had no experience in going to. We felt that all the details were deeply thought out. Each hotel was carefully considered addressing our specific needs. We had the most amazing time!! We will be using Mel and her group for our future travel adventures!!

I had done lots of research on what interested me when I decided on my destination of Italy. I took all my scribbles and notes to Mel to help narrow down locations and a reasonable timeline, Mel has travelled some of Italy herself, so she had useful advice and tips on places to go and transportation options, when I decided on my general travel itinerary, she helped me pick my hotels, book activities and transportation. The hotel choices were all great, especially in Sorento & Matera, the in-country transportation was well planned (trains, buses and planes) and while my trip home was rocky thanks to a delayed flight that lead to me missing my flight home, Mel was easy to reach through the app and she took over the arrangements for a new flight home, took a load of stress off my plate when I was stuck in the Rome airport!
