I have been in the travel industry for 11 years.  I have been Cruising for 28 Years.  I have personally visited 50 Countries, 5 Continents, with 15 different Cruise Brands.  Needless to say I LOVE Cruising!  It is the single most efficient and comfortable way to see the world.  Yes - I ONLY do Cruise Planning.  I am truly a Cruise Specialist.  I have enjoyed every moment of almost a full year at sea! And I'm not retired or wealthy!

I started cruising way back when because I owned an Architecture business & wanted to stay in touch with clients while I was traveling.  Every Cruise Ship has cell service!  I can answer my business phone no matter where we are.  One time I answered the phone poolside for a particular repeat client.  He did not know we were traveling, but when he heard the steel drum band in the background...  he quickly concluded that we were on a ship.  No worries, even though we were off the coast of Peru, in South America, we did some quick work on our laptops, in our stateroom, emailed it to the local print house, and the work product was delivered to the clients desk by the next morning.  Sometimes people scold us for working while "on vacation".  I always reply "I couldn't be here if it weren't for my work!",  There is nothing more important.

"My architecture clients are all business owners.  I know very few who travel - and I am here to change that!"  Business owners need vacations too!

My perfect client is any person or group of people who are "Planning to Cruise" for the same reasons I LOVE to CRUISE!

My perfect client is also adventurous!  They are interested in more than just a Beach Vacation.  They desire to immerse in culture & sample new food and beverages, but they don't necessarily want to read about it first.  The element of surprise is vital.  They find joy in wandering through beautiful Architecture to experience the vibe of the past and present in an unfamiliar place.  It is a romantic kind of wandering... You make friends along the way and you stop often for pictures, souvenirs, or refreshments, and the only time that matters is the time you have to be back to the ship.

My perfect client is not afraid of a language barrier, as a smile speaks a thousand words and transcends the fear of the unknown. We also have technology right in our hand these days that can help us navigate a foreign country and language.

My favorite type of cruise is called a Re-Positioning Cruise.  These begin in one place and end in another.  They are generally longer itineraries, with more sea days to relax or do a little work, and the price per day is often lower.  Have you ever experienced multiple 25 hour days in a row?  Try a westbound Transatlantic itinerary where the ship give you back the hours you lost getting to Europe, 1 hour per day.  It is the most relaxing and rejuvenating thing I have ever experienced.
