At the young age of 13 my grandparents took my sisters and I to Disneyland in Anaheim, California for a 1 week vacation and in doing so sparked what would become a lifelong love for travelling. 

Years later I married and my husband and I went to a resort on the island of St. Kitts for our honeymoon.  Other than a cross Canada move from the west to the east, this was my second real travelling experience and it re-sparked my passion for travelling.  Since then I have travelled many times with friends and family, and have sincerely appreciated the various locations and people I have been so privileged to meet along the way.

Some of my travels include visiting some of the Hawaiian Islands where we stayed at a beach front hotel.   I have also been to various resorts in Cuba, Dominican Republic, and the Mayan Rivera in Mexico. 

In addition to resorts, I have travelled on a 12 day vacation to Spain using my own itinerary, taking transport by bus, train and renting a car and visiting 4 cities in that time (Madrid, Valladolid, Valencia and Barcelona).  This was a very interesting and exciting experience!

I have also travelled on packaged bus tours through the United States and even Europe visiting London, Paris, Venice and Rome on a 15 day trip.  This was also an enjoyable travel experience to add to my growing photo album of world conquest.

It was a girlfriend of mine who first put a bug in my ear about perhaps taking a cruise to the Caribbean for a week.  I enjoyed that experience so much that since then I have taken to ships as my ultimate mode of transportation for vacationing.  I have been on many Caribbean cruises, seen the Panama Canal and even most recently travelled on an Alaska cruise tour.  Cruises are a great way to relax because you board the ship, unpack your bag once, and then you are free to enjoy the many things there are to do on the ship.   There are endless possibilities on the ship, as well as at each port you can participate in exciting shore excursions and shopping opportunities.  This is the ultimate in travel and fun that I cannot recommend strongly enough!
