This is hard to describe unless you've had a similar experience, however, having had the privilege to visit a truly remote & pristine place like the Galapagos, I can say it's absolutely awe inspiring, life changing and inspiring. Of course, whether any expedition ends up being good, or, even GREAT, depends a lot on the people and planning involved. Having a travel advisor like Dorena resulted in a GREAT booking with HX Expeditions after considering what matters to me and who would best meet that need. Not only did Dorena book this trip with what I'll call a perfect fit Expedition Company, she also made sure pre-trip time in Quito was maximized and enjoyable for me. If you're looking to venture out into the world for an Expedition of your own, I can't recommend Dorena enough.
