Mountains, beaches, castles, breweries, waterfalls, enchanting forests, lively cities, and distilleries.  Ireland packs a lot between its coastlines for such a small island in Western Europe.  With so much to see and do it's hard to decide where to go if you have limited time.  

You'd be surprised how much you can fit into a week-long journey to the emerald island.  From Dublin, it's only about two hours drive to get to the stunning landscape along the western shoreline, also known as the Wild Atlantic Way.  Or you could trek south a couple of hours from Dublin and kiss the Blarney stone near Cork, the country's second-largest city.  But you would be amiss if you didn't stop in the medieval town of Kilkenny along the way to explore the history that goes back many centuries.  You could also venture 2 hours north from Dublin to Belfast and continue to the Causeway Coastal Route for more spectacular natural scenery.  

It doesn't matter if you want to spend 3 days or 3 weeks in Ireland, nor does it matter if you just want to enjoy a pint of Guinness and some of the amazing food or if you want to take an outdoor adventure, there is something for everyone to like about Ireland.
