About Me

While some may shiver at the thought of an Arctic Circle trip to Alaska, they are missing out on a true adventure. I love representing Arctic Circle trips to Alaska as a travel agent professional as they’re a one-of-a-kind excursion. Meant for anyone who loves true adventure and the beauty of nature, these trips will give you memories that you can never replicate. The Arctic of Alaska is always an adventure. Since the Dalton Highway is the only land route through the area, a large portion of the region can only be reached by plane. The Dalton Highway travels north from Fairbanks, passing over the Yukon River and the Arctic Circle, the Brooks Mountain Range, and the Arctic Coastal Plain before coming to an end in Deadhorse, a service town for Prudhoe Bay, on the shores of the Arctic Ocean. This is a hard land road that travels through a very distant region and space. Many of the conveniences seen in today's contemporary society are absent from the towns that are visited along the highway. Therefore, the key to making the most of a vacation experience in Alaska's Arctic is unquestionably the traveler's attitude, whether they are flying into a remote community or driving the arduous Dalton Highway. Because of its isolation, Alaska's Arctic is frequently too expensive and time-consuming for the average traveler to explore on their own. However, one-day and multi-day excursions provide visitors the opportunity to thoroughly yet affordably explore this amazing region. I might suggest a tour that allows you to fly over the Arctic Circle and drive the area as well. For example, one tour option might include flying from Fairbanks to the Arctic Circle in the Brooks Mountain Range. This will allow you to get an aerial view of Alaska’ wilderness. You’ll land, taking a ground tour south of Coldfoot back to Fairbank via a comfortable tour vehicle. During your journey, you can learn more about the Arctic while making stops along the way. I can add travel along the Dalton HIghway, which was made popular because it is the route secured for the construction of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. I can also make it possible for you to cross the Arctic Circle and receive a certificate. Stop along the shoreline of the Yukon river or take a trip to Joy, Alaska where you can visit the Arctic Trading Post. One of the exciting natural experiences is seeing the Aurora gleaming from darkened Arctic skies and experiencing a solar Midnight. You can also see polar bears safely in polar-bear-safe transport. I’ll make sure you have a journey that is worth sharing on Facebook and with friends and family. I can also lead you on other Alaskan adventures. Wherever you want to go in the Far North, I can help you plan an amazing trip. Give me a call today to learn more about the details.

The best trip of our lives visiting Alaska!
Reviewed By Emily C. - Davis, California | Traveled to Fairbanks ~ Alaska ~ USA
Karen is great! She really showed us the hospitality of Alaska. She was super helpful with planning the trip and during our stay in Alaska. We really appreciate her for putting in the effort for us to have a wholesome Alaskan experience. She is also quick at responding to our needs. When we told her that we were interested in dog mushing after we arrived in Alaska, she booked us a tour right away that night. My family and I had a wonderful time at Alaska thanks to Karen, and we look forward to visiting Alaska again!
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Best Agent for Your Alaska Travels
Reviewed By Nancy P - Memphis, Tennessee | Traveled to Alaska ~ USA
Two years ago I started planing an Alaskan vacation for June 2024. I searched the internet for a travel agent and was directed to Karen Dillard. I told Karen my plans and she started to work. We were going to fly into Anchorage and fly out of Fairbanks. Next she suggested staying at McKinley Creekside Cabins. We loved this place! The rooms, the staff, the food, the views was excellent!
Next she suggested a cabin in North Pole. It was such a cute cozy cabin tucked away in the woods and it wasn't very far from Fairbanks.
I am thankful for Karen and her hard work these past two years. I know it was difficult due to some of my plans changing throughout the two years due to the amount of days I was able to be in Alaska.
Thank you Karen for your friendship!
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.
