We had a good idea about the type of trip we want to take an even some of the potential cruise lines in mind when we searched online for agents who might be able to help us. After a phone call to each of them, Roe emerged as the agent who we felt most comfortable working with.
She was very thorough and professional in providing us with the information we needed. When we had questions (which we had a fair number of) she consistently responded quickly.
Although we missed some deadlines, she managed to get us some discounts that we otherwise would have lost.

Roe is SO very good at what she does. She takes the time to chat with you, asking questions to determine your "travel personality". For example, do you not mind unpacking and packing every night in different locales, or would you rather see lots of places, and only unpack once ( as in a fabulous cruise). Do you prefer to explore places on your own, or do you like the idea of taking pre-arranged tours? She does this to ensure that you have the very best experience possible. She has a wealth of knowledge about places, accommodations, and transportation options that fit your budget and suit your personal needs and preferences. There used to be a Visa commercial that said, "Don't leave home without it." I would say, "Don't leave home without planning with Roe. I have NEVER been disappointed with a vacation she has planned for me.

Our first experience with Roe Mauro was when my wife and I planned a two month trip that started in Italy (31/2 weeks) followed by 10 days in Ireland, a week in Scotland, a week in southwest England, a week in Wales, and ending with three days in London. Alaska Land & Sea with a big group

Roe has planned several big trips for me; Hawaii, a cruise and this Alaska trip. She has been instrumental in making each trip enjoyable. We had 11 people in our group and everything was coordinated perfectly from our cabin locations, to dinner, to the land portion of the trip. Roe is able to synthesize the information and thoughts we share with her about our travel plans so we can plan a do-able trip. She helps us narrow our focus when important, blue-sky things when we need to and always puts together a great experience for us. Roe is knowledgable about so much and in so many places. And when there's a spot or tour she's not familiar with she lets us know that and helps us figure it out together. Roe has quickly come to know what our travel style is which helps us save so much time when it comes to pulling a great trip together. (if she ever retires i don't know what we'll do!)

The Perfect Honeymoon

For the first time in my life, I worked with a travel agent to plan my honeymoon with my new wife. With all of the stresses and pressures of an approaching wedding (and move!), I somewhat eagerly handed off all of the travel planning to Roe, letting her know where we wanted to go and what sorts of things would interest us. Not only did Roe take my half-baked ideas into account and turn them into a fully fledged itinerary, she also made sure to book some of the most charming, accessible, and unique hotels in southern France, while making sure we could enjoy delicious meals, seamless transportation, and the rich and varied culture of each location. Our travel experience was perfect, from our domestic departure to our arrival back in the US, with every ticket, booking, and reservation waiting for us at every stop along the way. We couldn't have been happier with our first trip as a married couple, and we eagerly recommend a capable, friendly, and helpful travel agent like Roe.
