Agent Extraordinaire

Gretchen designs trips based on participants' input. A great communicator, she patiently answered (& re-answered ;) all of our questions. Gretchen excels at creating a seamless travel experience - whether engaging local greeters, tour guides and/or alternative modes of transportation. Finally, she arranges local activities that are genuine and informative. My husband and I have traveled on 3 or 4 Gretchen trips (losing count!) and have signed up for 2 more - we are fans.

Beyond Incredible
Reviewed By ooxxangela - Nashville, TN | Traveled to Kenya | Africa
From the moment our itinerary landed in my inbox, I knew this journey through Kenya would be special—but it far exceeded even my highest hopes. Gretchen, our phenomenal travel planner, curated a safari experience that struck the perfect balance between adventure, cultural immersion, and restorative luxury. Whether it was the seamless airport transfers, the warm welcomes at each lodge, or the gentle nudges to try something new and thrilling, Gretchen’s attention to detail was astounding. I never once had to question what came next—everything unfolded like a well-crafted story, from sunrise game drives to twilight dinners. Each place we stayed offered a distinct flavor of Kenya’s beauty—open-air suites overlooking the savannah to cozy eco-lodges with staff who greeted us like family. There was comfort, charm, and local character in every room. What truly made this trip unforgettable was the way we connected with Kenya’s vibrant culture and extraordinary wildlife. We danced with local communities, listened to ancient stories by firelight, marveled at elephants grazing near our camp, and stared in awe as wildlife dashed across the horizon. It wasn’t just sightseeing—it was soul-seeing. If you’re dreaming of a journey that goes beyond the ordinary, Gretchen is the kind of planner who doesn’t just get you there—she makes sure you live the magic. Kenya stole my heart, and Gretchen made sure I could give it freely. 1000% going back

Alaskan Adventure
Reviewed By Chris - Richmond, IN | Traveled to Alaska | USA
We went on a one week Alaskan cruise that started in Vancouver. We stopped in Ketchican, Juno, Skagway, and ended in Whittier. From there we were on land for an additional week. We took prearranged buses and trains to 3 different Princess Lodges, including Denali, Fairbanks, and Copper I can't believe how much of Alaska we saw in two weeks! At the same time, I feel like we had ample time to enjoy each area we visited both on and off of the cruise ship. I went on an excursion that included a bus and train ride through beautiful scenic Alaska. On this excursion we went across the Canadian border to visit the Yukon. I love wildlife and saw so much of it. I saw eagles, ravens, humpback whales, killer whales, dolphins, sea lions, otters, moose, bears, snowhare, and dall sheep! We were able to enjoy 4 amazing national parks, including Denali and Wrangell-St Elias on the land portion of the trip and Glacier Bay, and Kenai Fjords from the cruise ship! Alaska is huge and I truly feel as though I saw a whole lot of it! I learned things I didn't know about Alaska and what I thought I already knew was even better than I imagined. I could really feel that Alaska is "The Last Frontier" and "The Land of the Midnight Sun". I feel like the rich Native American history and the Sled Dogs were such a real and engrained part of Alaska. I loved learning about them. Seeing and learning about the Alaskan Pipe Line was interesting and panning for gold was so much fun. This was truly a safe and luxurious Alaskan Adventure!
