About Me

One of the great places in Eastern Europe is the Czech Republic. That is why I am excited to represent this part of the world as a travel agent specialist.  The Czech Republic is famous for its beautiful lakes and castles. It’s a great place to visit if you love hiking, cycling, skiing, spa-like pampering and great food. The country has many interesting places worth exploring. To help you plan your trip, I’ve put together a list of the top 9 must-see attractions in the Czech Republic. Whether you’re planning on visiting for a few days or for longer, the attractions below are sites you must see.

1. Vysoká nad Jizerou Castle, Czech Republic Vysoká nad Jizerou Castle is a stunning example of a medieval castle in the Czech Republic. The castle was first built in the 13th century and has gone through many renovations since then. The castle is located on a hill, so it’s worth making your way up to see it from afar.

2. Prague Castle, Czech Republic Prague Castle is the largest and most important castle in the Czech Republic. It is also one of the oldest structures in Europe, dating back to the ninth century. The castle has a lot of history associated with it, so make sure to take some time to learn more about its fascinating past. The dungeon at Prague Castle is also worth visiting. This ancient prison has been around since the 12th century when it was built by Boleslaus II.

3. Charles Bridge, Prague Charles Bridge is a bridge that crosses the Vltava River in Prague, Czech Republic. It is one of the most famous landmarks in the country and has been featured in many books and movies. The bridge was completed in 1357 and spans more than one kilometer. It’s a popular spot for couples to take engagement photos, so if you’ve got your heart set on a special photo, this is the place to visit!

4. The National Gallery in PragueThe National Gallery in Prague is one of the most prestigious art galleries in the world. It features an impressive collection that includes works by Rembrandt and Rubens. The gallery is also home to pieces by artists such as Picasso, Van Gogh and Monet.  This impressive gallery houses over 2,500 works of art, with a focus on European painting during the 16th to 19th centuries. The building itself was created in 1874 to house some of these masterpieces. The National Gallery is located in Malá Strana, or Lesser Quarter, which is a district south of Old Town Square in Prague and close to Charles Bridge. Take a break from walking around Old Town Square and visit this gallery to view its impressive art.

5. St. Barbara’s Church and the Lobkowicz Palace in BrnoLocated in the old town square, this church is one of the most important places in the Czech Republic. It was built by Ferdinand II Lobkowicz and has a Baroque exterior. Once you’re done with your visit to St. Barbara’s Church, I recommend taking a stroll down to the Lobkowicz Palace. The Lobkowicz Palace was built by Ferdinand II in 1722 and is now used as an art museum open to the public. The palace has been intricately restored and its interiors are on display for visitors to enjoy. This attraction is perfect if you want to get a feel for how life was like in pre-communist Czechoslovakia.

6. Ceský Krumlov Castle, Czech Republic This castle is open all year round, and it is a great place to visit if you want to escape the hustle of the modern world. The castle was built in the 13th century, making it one of the oldest castles in Central Europe. It’s also a popular tourist attraction because people can explore its gardens and learn interesting facts about the history of Czechoslovakia from its exhibitions.

7. Dvorak Place Square, Prague Dvorak Place Square is located in the heart of Prague and it’s an ideal place to start your tour. This square can be found in the center of the city, which means that visitors will get a good look at the beautiful architecture while people-watching in the square. You’ll also find  plenty of places to eat, drink, and shop in this central Prague location.

8. Eger Castle, Czech RepublicEger Castle is found in the region of North Bohemia. It’s a must-see attraction that offers visitors a spectacular view of the countryside. The castle is surrounded by lush forests and boasts amazing gardens full of flowers and fruit trees.

9. Gerlitzen Estate and Brewery Tour in Prague This tour is for beer lovers. You’ll visit the brewery and taste some of the best Czech craft beers and other beers from around the world. The tour also includes a walk through Prague’s Old Town. Whether you are a first-time tourist or a seasoned traveler, the Czech Republic is a must-see destination. I know this  glimpse into the country’s culture and history will entice you to see more of the country’s landscape. Why not give me a call today and let’s start planning your once-in-a-lifetime getaway. I look forward to serving as your Czech travel agent advisor.

Excellent Customer Service
Reviewed By Bonnie - Mastic Beach, New York | Traveled to Switzerland ~ Europe
Stoddard is a wonderful travel agent who provides outstanding customer service!

I initially contacted Stoddard via email. He reached out to me that very same day via phone and email. I spoke with him at length that afternoon and explained that we want to go on a 10-12 day trip to Switzerland. Before I went to bed that evening, he sent over a full itinerary which included flights, hotels, some meals, and recommendations for how to spend our time. All of this came in under our budget. Everything that Stoddard picked was fabulous, but since we had some extra money we added an extra night and made one or two upgrades. Stoddard was patient, friendly, and responsive throughout all of our interactions, and he always gave his honest opinion when we asked him for his input. It's evident that he knows Switzerland very well!! Our trip is now officially booked and we could not be more excited!

I highly recommend using Stoddard to plan your next vacation. He will not disappoint!!
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Honeymoon to Thailand
Reviewed By mike-and-emilia - San Diego | Traveled to Thailand ~ East and Southeast Asia
First time getting away in many years, newlyweds on our post-honeymoon vacation somewhere we knew nothing about, and Stoddard immediately got a great trip together, along with all the experience he had living there a few years. Never used an agent before, not to mention a specialist like Stoddard. Talked me through the options, send example, settled on a 14 day trip, and it was awesome... Thanks Stoddard !
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.
