He did some extra work for us, as we went to Europe earlier than the Cruise trip and had to make all connecting reservations. Also, leaving from Wilmington, NC was not an easy connection for the Business Class that we upgraded to from the Cruise line. Outstanding as usual

Charlie was great! The Regal Princess was a disappointment. The ship is beautiful. The room was fine. The room steward was great. The food was poor. The Anytime dining was a sham !!! The lines to the dining room was over an hour from 6:30 on. People were giving bribes to get into the dining room. Breakfast in the dining room was from 7-9 AM. Most cruises have breakfast until 10. Everyone wound up in the buffet breakfast- not enough help since everyone was there. The offshore excursions on this cruise was like throwing out money. The morning we were coming into Brooklyn they actually charged you for coffee insisting there was no coffee where we were assigned- guess what- there was coffee there. Also they did not charge for espresso or cappucino only coffee.

We have made several world cruises, and fairly simple cruises, all booked and managed by Charles. We also have really put him to the test with a complicated land trip that required 32 train changes and we never missed one or had a problem. All the hotels recommended were as described. I have really come to rely on Charles whenever we travel. You couldn't find a more caring agent who looks out for your interests and when prices drop or a special comes by, he is there for you, his client.

Having never cruised before, Charles was always available to answer questions and obtain answers promptly if he didn't already have the answer in his brain. To me, that knowhow is not only helpful, but representative of many qualities in a travel agent that you can not place a price tag on. We are doing Business with charles now since several years. We are Germans, living in Germany, but are yearly in FL for several weeks (as snowbirds as you call it). We could easily book our Cruises to the Caribbian either by ourselves in Internet or German travel agencies.
