My First Six Dopey Challenge medals

I have been in the travel industry since 2005, but my heart has always been in Walt Disney World. I worked at the resort for 18 months and then transferred to The Disney Store, where I earned the coveted 10-year service pin. However, my local store eventually closed and I had to find another way to create magic. Helping my clients plan their visits to Disney theme parks is the next best thing to being a Cast Member and make me feel like I am home again.

Over the years, I've expanded my focus to ocean cruising (especially Disney Cruise Line), river cruises (especially through Adventures by Disney), and beach resorts (especially Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawai'i). I'm sure you can pick up on a theme here! Once my youngest child turned 18, I didn't turn away from Disney, but I started to explore adult-only cruise lines and resorts to prepare for my upcoming empty nest. At the moment, Sandals and Virgin Voyages are at the top of my adult-only list for my personal travel, but I'm eager to learn more.

After working as an independent contractor for 16 years, I finally decided to launch my own travel agency in 2021. While the pandemic certainly made this a challenging time, I feel it helped showcase the value of having a travel planner in your corner. As travel restrictions and safety requirements continue to change, I pride myself on being a resource for my clients so they don't need to frantically check with Google.

As you can probably guess from this photo, I am a huge fan of runDisney events. I’ve participated in every Dopey Challenge and have served as a Jeff Galloway Training Programs pacer for many races as well. Vacation packages that include a runDisney race (or four!) are among the most popular trips I plan. And the Castaway Cay Challenge is my favorite way to recuperate from a successful Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. What better way to celebrate than with a Disney Cruise Line voyage? Then again, I also enjoy vacations that don’t require running, so I completely understand if that’s more your speed.

The best part of my job has always been getting personally acquainted with each traveler I work with. I consider them to be “cliends” — people who start off as clients and then become friends. Whether you’re a young adult planning your first trip without your parents, a busy parent of young children, or an experienced traveler who’d like someone else to handle the logistics for a change, I’d love the chance to get to know you.
