To me, the most important part of my job is making travel planning accessible to everyone. I became a travel advisor because I thrive in my role as a “catalyst of connection” – connecting travelers with family members, with friends, with destinations, and with cultures other than their own. Being a person of color, I love the ability to help a whole demographic of people see that travel is available to them. Nothing is as rewarding and fulfilling as being part of someone’s story and being a travel advisor enables me to be part of each of my clients’ stories in a unique way.  

I am particularly passionate about helping first-time river cruisers find the best river cruise for their trip. I love that river cruising allows you to explore the inner parts of a country while also enjoying the comforts and luxuries of a cruise ship. It allows you to relax and be adventurous at the same time. My clients travel on the best river cruise lines and I have booked clients on on all of the major river cruise lines across Europe, Asia and the United States and I’ve sailed on the Rhine, Danube and Rhone rivers.

I will tailor-match your unique travel style and lifestyle preferences to the trip that will best suit your tastes as well as your budget. My true focus is on working with you and your best interest. I’m not in the business to pressure or persuade you to book an over-budget trip that you may not even like. I respect your time and value the trust you invest in me, and I make sure that all the requirements of your trip are factored into your plan. From the start of the planning process through the end of your travel journey, I am available for support and coaching for anything you need. Before you embark, I ensure that you’re well-informed and prepared for any issues that may arise. If problems do occur, I’m there to help.  

Once, I had a client that realized he forgot his insulin at home while at the airport preparing to go on a river cruise. He lived three hours from the airport and didn’t have time to run back home to get it. He had put so much into this trip and wasn’t ready to give up on it, and neither was I. Immediately, I called the river cruise line and the ship they were going to board, and I asked if the transportation transfer that was going to pick them up from the airport could take them to a pharmacy where he could get insulin. They agreed to make it happen, and when they landed, he was able to get his medication. He really appreciated that I cared enough about his health to do what it took to get him what he needed, and the rest of their trip went on without a hitch.
