Hey! I am Janine S.V. McPhie. I am the owner and founder of Your Door To The World Travel, LLC, an Atlanta Metro based Travel Agency. I’ve been in the travel business for over 13 years and traveling has been my passion since I was 2years old. :) I have travelled most of the continents and can't wait to hit the ones I have not traveled.
Being a Travel Agent is truly a labor of love..my ode to travel, urging all to create memories and just pack your bag. It was a simple life lesson I learned growing up in my Trinidadian household in NY. I learned how creating memories, taking plenty pictures to tell your story and knowing there is always another opportunity to just pack your bag is just around the corner.I truly thank God for placing this desire for travel in my spirit and having my parents cultivate it to the point where my entrepreneurial spirit transformed it into a career and company.

Excellent! Professional! Personable! Caring! I had no worries, even in the midst of the hurricane. Janine was with us every step of the way and on top of everything even from thousands of miles away. This is my second vacation in a year through Janine. And like the first to Cancun back in November this one to Cartagena was Great! There was Excellent Communication from start to finish. There was a support Team in place before we actually left the states that reached out and expanded once we arrived. Omg where do I start , This woman helped me from day 1 even with all my not being sure of what I wanted , rather it was to go alone or not . Janine never made me feel pressured at anytime. She was so helpful throughout the whole process . She checked on me. Also she laid EVERYTHING out . upgrades to fast track through airport , service rides set up to get around to anything you want SHOPPING, Touring, excursions ETC.. VIP to Mobay lounge which is a very nice lounge to have drinks and finger foods before you board. I’m just saying it was smooth .my Birthday !! my room was decorated with flowers champagne and cake , Everything was awesome! I have never went live on Facebook but I did while I was on vacation to let ppl know how great of an experience I had with this COMPANY ! Amazing Aruba Adventure!

We chose the Riu Antillas and we were thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms, the friendliness of the staff, and our view. We were right on the beach which made for fantastic views and the location was adults only. Culinary experience is a priority for me. We took advantage of the all inclusive experience however, we did rent a car to leave and check out the local cuisine. Zeerover’s in Aruba is some of the freshest seafood on the island and you must try it. Aruba has perfect 80-degree weather with a breeze that never stops.
The people are so friendly and most speak English. We did an UTV excursion and really got to go off road around the island. The resort was beautiful, and Janine made sure that we had a seamless travel experience getting to and from our destination. These memories will last a lifetime, we're definitely going back and, we will be booking with Janine and Your Door to the World Travel again!

Welcome home to Ghana

Ghana was amazing. Starting with our tour guide Martina. Her depth of knowledge had no limits. She welcomed my family with open arms teaching us of Ghanaian political infrastructure, education system, and everyday life. We traveled to Kumasi and learned of the Ashanti empire and also learned the history of Kente cloth weaving. We enjoyed a canopy walk in the rainforest and walked on the same stones our ancestors walked at the Cape Coast Castle. This single experience was worth the distance traveled. The food in Ghana was amazing. Our children had some of the comforts of home and was also able to try new spices and local dishes. There is so much more to see and I can't wait to return.

Family Vacations

Janine has helped my family and I plan many vacations over the years. She makes herself available to you and works diligently to ensure all your travel needs are met. There have been times where I've planned my own travel but needed help finding activities or arranging transportation in my destination and Janine was more than happy to help with those arrangements.
When you go on a trip Janine has planned from start to finish you have no question about your itinerary. She leaves no stone unturned leaving you confident that you can get to your destination and enjoy yourself.
I appreciate that she will stay in touch throughout the duration of your travel, always ready to assist with any inquiry that arise. Most recently we had an unexpected change to our return flight from Ghana and Janine stayed in touch with us through this extended delay. This helped to add some piece of mind during our return.

Best 50th Surprise B-day for Hubby EVER!

Janine helped me plan a surprise 50th birthday trip for my hubby in Washington, DC. (July 2025) I had a budget, date, & plan and she helped me execute the best 50th Birthday trip for my hubby! Janine is always helpful, responsive and patient!! Every little detail and/or need-- if she can make it happen, she will MAKE IT HAPPEN!!! Since a child, my husband has always wanted to see the SR-71 Blackbird at the Smithsonian. When I found that what he really wanted to see was NOT in DC, but in the Smithsonian in Virginia, I called Janine immediately! Needless to say, she made it happen and it happened with all the bells and whistles included to make this a memorable day and trip for my husband. Although it was a great trip for us both, the highlight of the trip for my husband was to see something he has dreamed of seeing as a child!! My unforgettable trip

Just want to say that this was my very first experience out of the country. Plan ride was a little scary, but made it through. Once we got to Jamaica service was good from being escorted through the airport, to our waiting lounge at Molby which was excellent, to our very own driver. Once at the resort this place was a 5 ?? s, but wish it was a little bit more shopping stores on the resort. Over all Janine is an excellent travel agent she kept in contact with us to make sure we made it to our destination. And kept us inform about what we need to where we need to explore. We recently returned from the most amazing girls trip to celebrate my mom’s 60th birthday in Negril, Jamaica, and we owe a huge thanks to our incredible travel agent, Janine!
We stayed at the brand new Princess Grand Jamaica, and everything from start to finish was top-notch. The resort was stunning—beautiful grounds, clean and modern rooms, and a warm, welcoming staff who went above and beyond to make our stay special. My mom’s birthday celebration was extra memorable thanks to the resort team: her room was decorated with festive touches, including a delicious cake, fresh fruit, and a bottle of sparkling beverage waiting for her upon arrival. It was perfect!
Janine made the entire process so smooth and stress-free. She set us up with Club Mobay, which saved us a ton of time at the airport and made arrival and departure seamless. Even when we had to make some changes along the way, Janine handled everything with patienc

Easiest Trip Ever

Janine McPhie was the best travel agent!!! I planned a 50th birthday trip for my sister and I for December 2024. Unfortunately, I got sick a couple of days before we were to depart. Luckily, there was no problem with us deferring the trip to a later time. We chose the end of April the following year. Jeanine made the arrival in Cancun a seamless experience. Plus, having private transportation to and from the airport had us feeling safe. The Royalton Chic Hotel was a dream. Check-in was an easy process and we immediately met our butler because we were in the Diamond Club. This provided top shelf drinks, snacks in the lounge, along with a separate area on the beach. The view of from the room was amazing as we were able to see the lagoon. The resort was safe, clean, and the beach was absolutely beautiful.
