Having spent more than 30 years as a travel agent, I have planned many cruises for both families and couples. I love cruises because I believe they are the best all around vacation. These fantastic experiences include your accommodations, activities, numerous dining options and nightly entertainment. There is no better value available for such a reasonable price, making it the perfect option for families! Celebrity Cruise Lines is one of my favorite cruise lines to use. Obviously some of the most popular cruises are to the Caribbean. The combination of fun in the sun, relaxation and exceptional ports makes a Caribbean cruise a great choice for your next vacation. My personal preference is to sail the Eastern Caribbean. These beautiful ports are home to some of the most amazing beaches, exceptional snorkeling opportunities and an extensive amount of history. From the pirate museum in Nassau to the incredible shopping in St. Thomas, there is something for everyone on this vacation getaway! If ocean cruising seems a bit overwhelming, consider climbing aboard a luxury European river cruise aboard a Viking Cruise ship. Instead of a few thousand travelers, you will be one of only a couple hundred on a much smaller, luxury ship. River cruises are a great option for travelers who enjoy exploring, history and culture. One of the best parts of a river cruise is the convenience of docking in each of the ports. Instead of having to tender into a port from your cruise ship, river cruises are able to typically dock directly in the town center. This allows you the opportunity to spend as much time as possible in each port. And trust me, the more time available in each port the better! Exploring castles, endless historical landmarks and taking in the stunning scenery will all be available to you during this luxury vacation. If you are planning a European vacation, I highly recommend looking into the many Christmas markets. Truly a sight of holiday cheer and historic charm, these Christmas markets never disappoint. Wow!! What a blessing it was to find Barbara Lawrence and Travel leaders. We are the parents of several "special needs" children so we needed someone who understood the "special requests" we often needed to make when choosing a destination/vacation.She kept track of the kids "issues" and often made suggestions when planning rooms or dining reservations. It has made my life easier being able to call her, tell her which child or children will be taking the trip and letting her "put it all together",
We traveled last summer on an Alaska land and sea tour with Barbara and staff and it was fantastic! My "special" son liked the itinerary and knowing ahead of time where our stops were and all details were taken care of!

Fantastic Trip to Hawaii

Barbara was excellent throughout the process. She suggested the 3-day Oahu tour and NCL cruise which enabled us to explore four different islands. She made it easy, handling all of the details and accommodating our special wishes. She shared a lot of valuable advice with us up front that made the trip very memorable.
Barbara also planned out a 5 day trip for us to New Orleans. I was awed by how easy everything was. She handled air, hotel, transfers, and event tickets and made suggestions on what to do.
