Galveston offers a wide variety of cruise lines year round, and hosts some cruise lines seasonally. Since every family is unique and made up of very different people; your ideal cruise may NOT be the same as the cruise your neighbor or your brother took. Galveston Cruises are great because for most of the folks cruising out of Galveston, there are not flights involved, which leaves more room in the budget for excursions or for putting towards another trip!

ITINERARIES
Because of its location, many of the shorter Galveston cruise itineraries will be Western Caribbean cruises and usually include Cozumel, Progresso, or Costa Maya ports. These are GREAT options for quick getaways and long weekends.

Longer Western Caribbean itineraries may also include Roatan, Belize, Falmouth, George Town, or even Bahamian ports like Royal Caribbean's private island Perfect Day at Coco Cay.

There are usually a few longer (10-11 night) Southern Caribbean Cruises including ports such as Aruba, Curacao, Grand Cayman

Repositioning or transatlantic cruises to and from Galveston offer an incredible value! These cruises either start or end in Galveston as ship are moved for a season. Repositioning cruises are usually longer, but will give the opportunity to see unique destinations from Galveston like Europe with only one flight!
