As we say down South, “Hey y’all!” I’m Kara—an Ohio transplant who’s proudly called South Carolina home for over 30 years. While I’ve fully embraced Southern living, my Buckeye spirit is still going strong… O-H!

I’m a wife, mom to my 24-year-old daughter Ally and son-in-law Nathan, and dog mom to Scarlett Gray and Carmen. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and that carries over into my passion for helping others create meaningful travel memories.

I’ve spent the past 12 years in the travel industry, and I truly love what I do. There’s nothing better than helping clients plan unforgettable trips—and getting to “travel” alongside them as they explore the world.

My love of travel began in 1976, when my uncle—who worked for an airline—took me on my very first trip to the Walt Disney World® Resort. He filled my imagination with stories of his global adventures, and that spark has never faded. Although I lost him several years ago, his influence continues to inspire my passion for travel every day.

Since that first visit, I’ve returned to the Walt Disney World® Resort more than 20 times, even spending an incredible 34 days there in one year! I’ve experienced 13 different resorts, each offering something unique and magical.

I’ve also sailed with Disney Cruise Line, Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, and Holland America (to Alaska!) —and I have to admit, I’m hooked on cruising. Whether it’s life at sea or the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, I also have a deep love for all-inclusive island escapes.

More recently, my husband and I have embraced European travel as empty nesters, discovering the beauty and culture across the pond. These days, we’re almost always planning our next adventure!
